2 You can adjust the top of my van a few inches for a more custom fit.
I installed it on the back passenger door and it looks great. G10 Chevy from 1995. Installing is a breeze.
It's extremely simple to set up. I used my own self-made screws instead of the ones that came with it. Ones are tapped. There is no need for bolts or pilot holes. I also used a lap sealant around the edges to provide some extra protection for the butyl tape. The actual ladder is 51" tall, which is perfect for a newer style transit connect.
Then I went through all of the negative feedback. I was concerned about them. The ladder was delivered earlier than expected. I was surprised by how light the box was, and I wondered how durable it could really be. Every penny spent on this ladder is well spent. It's simple to set up and, if done correctly, it'll last a long time. I bought one for the back of my van and liked it so much that I bought another for the side because they are sturdy and stylish. I'm around 180 pounds and use them on a regular basis. Perhaps the seller has recently pulled their s$%t together- because I am pleased with my purchase and the speed with which it was delivered The ladder was also an exact match for the description. Thank you for providing a good ladder at a reasonable cost.
The product does not appear to be identical to the photographs. This is not a solid object. The product is not identical to what is shown in the pictures. I'm 220 pounds and don't think I'll be able to use it.
It was a little light at first, but now it's a little more substantial. As expected, it functions properly. It's a little light, but now that I've taken it on and off the van at least 40 times, I'm completely confident in it. Because you'll need to drill holes to install it, make sure to paint the bare metal and seal it with caulk.
On my 1992 Ford E250, it worked perfectly and was a breeze to install.
The package was damaged and did not contain everything that was advertised. br>It isn't the ladder shown in the photos. Mounts must be attached to the bottom because there are no hooks on the top.
