I'm the proud owner of a 2010 Dodge Sprinter with the ERA RV package. It has a high top and a 170 wheelbase. I wanted the best ladder for my van, so I did a lot of research on prices and how to use it properly. This was required for access to a car top carrier and the mounting of two bicycles. The ladder fits perfectly, and I've reinforced it at the bottom with a short piece of aluminum angle. To spread the weight at the bottom, use double-sided tape and two additional sheet metal screws. Rubber spacers are also included on both ends to compensate for the rear hatch's taper. Please see the photos that are attached. I hope this information is useful to anyone thinking about buying a Sprinter.
I bought it before I found out if it would fit my 2011 MB Sprinter with a medium roof. I was told it wouldn't work, but it does, and it's ideal for pushing temporary electrical poles off the roof rack while climbing on top.
I'm pleased with it.
When you walk through the selection filters on Amazon's Autocare Depot catalog, it points to the wrong item. This item should have been sent based on their online catalog's filters; instead, I received the incorrect item, and Autocare Depot will not compensate me. Amazon is taking its time with this one, with blame being passed back and forth between Autocare Depot and Amazon over who messed up the catalog. br>br>These guys are not to be trusted.
