It appears that the bars at both ends are quite adjustable, but I have never measured them. There was plenty of adjustable space left when I ran the bars from the bottom of the hitch up to the frame of the trailer with the 12 inch drop hitch.
The sizes are 1/2 x 2

It is true that the pictures do not convey the full effect of this stabilizer. Much like the hitch itself, pictures don't convey any sense of its function. The stabilizer bars on these snowboards are enormous and robust. When mounted directly to the frame, this hitch simply will not move. In addition to being a solid setup, this one looks terrific as well. It is well worth the wait. My hitch gets compliments all the time. They usually go something like, "Man, I love that thing!". There is a hitch in that. Something is going on with that thing. Because it looks so awesome and they can't think what to say about it. Bulletproof Hitches is a great company! Those who own Silverados like mine (2018 2500HD) should add one important point. If you want to mount this hitch in a rugged location on the frame rails, you will not be able to mount a spare tire on it. However, most lifted trucks do not carry a spare here, so.
The company does what they say they will. As a result, there is no slop in the hitch anymore, which goes to the trailer as well. A lifter on my 2012 Ram 3500 enables me to tow extremely heavy loads, and this just increases the truck's and the hitch's usability. Over the weekend, I used the snapstrap on the hitch to recover another vehicle with no problems. I like the fact that it no longer sounds like a clunk when the truck hits This is a good looking product that is easy to install. It would have been nice if the yokes had locks on the top pins on the bars, and a pin instead of a bolt at the bottom where the hitch mounts. I found this hitch to be the most useful out of any that I've The Generation Y has been sold and this was replaced. The product is excellent and I'll buy it.
Thank you! It was great to get So we got the hitch and stabilizer bars as we needed a 10" drop!.
There should be no bouncing or sloping. It does take a little bit of modification.
I think the hitch looks cool now that it's tightened up. The boat in the background is my old setup, but I haven't pulled it yet with the new one. After I finish it, I will update my review, hopefully it will stop the sway, but after that I will give my honest opinion.
I love this.
It takes a lot of time and effort to install, the frame rails of your new truck will need to be drilled.
It was difficult to align the stabilizing bars with the frame because the brackets weren't sized.
