For the kids, we bought an inflatable pool and placed one underneath a tarp. The usual blue tarp from Home Depot has always been the most convenient, but this one was more economical, available in black, and I didn't want to drive out to Home Depot just for a tarp during COVID so I tried this one instead. As a tarp novice, I don't know a lot about it, but it seems the same as the one at Home Depot. My Home Depot ones are just as water-resistant as this one due to its tightly woven construction. New is better than nothing. Since I can't compare for the long run, all tarps degrade over time in the end. As for its quality, I would say "well made". The bronze reinforced rings stand out precisely one foot and half apart, and the silver rings are spaced approximately one foot apart as well. I'd buy it again if I had the chance.
It has a thick seam in the center that causes it to not drain or run off well. Rather than diverting rain from the floor of the deck, it would be better to cover an object.
This is the cover we bought to go over our wood pile. The black goes well with both our landscape and Previously, we used a bright blue tarp, and it was a tripping hazard. I am so much happier with this.
The canopy over our pool was destroyed by the sun and wind, so we used it to replace the previous cover. The neighborhood did not look ghetto at all. I love it. I wore it for the entire summer without fading or tearing, and it still holds up great! Quality you can't beat.
If you are looking for something similar, try this one. A tarp blocked the holes in the Bilco door during heavy rain, so water was not allowed into the basement. The smaller one was mine & the larger one was mine A size larger has been ordered. I highly recommend it.
A durable material. I have not yet 'tested' the product out in the elements for long, but from initial use, it.
There is good quality to the tarp. This is what I use to fix temporary roof leaks for clients instead of an ugly blue tarp, because it is more in line with the color of the shingles. A tarp like this one is highly recommended.
