Three inches is the width of the hook, and two inches is the height. A 7-inch screen. If the chain size is too large, you can measure it to make sure it fits.
It's been about 3 times since I last used them, but I haven't had any problems, and they're not showing any These straps have been very helpful on my car trailer, particularly with vehicles like low Corvettes where car straps proved difficult to use. Once it has been hooked up to my straps, I push it through the spoke wheels. It seems like they are okay for the money they charge.
The outside diameter of the D rings measures 38 1/2 inches
There are 3/16" of a thickness to it. As far as I am concerned, they do what I needed them to do. Cars with open slots on their wheels are tied down to my car trailer with these ties.

typically haul trucks that weigh no more than 1 ton to and from my performance shop and to the track. On the front, these work fine, but using them in the back I have a problem. In the event of a collision, these straps I recommend chains, chain the back and opt for a strap on the front or chain on the back if you want. Since these are smaller and the hook points on the suspension are odd shaped, I bought these primarily for my ATV's and SXS's for rides, because these are more difficult to get into tight spaces than a 3/8 chain and significantly stronger than a 3/8 chain. I would not run these on the back of cars like rice burners because they are too heavy even with two straps. If it is over 4000lbs even with 2 straps I would not run these. You can cross tie the wheel to a low low car if you don't have an option, but you are able to strap the wheel to the car if you don't.

I bought the ratchet straps to secure my '99 Toyota Tacoma that was towing on a flatbed It took me no time at all to wrap these around the real axle and tie it down. They didn't move even after a 200 mile trip. They were still stable when I placed them there. I was surprised by how fast they shipped and how soon they arrived. It would be a good idea to use them for any load that needs to be secured.
To be used for towing behind a motor home while securing a vehicle on a trailer. Trying to secure the body was difficult. It is much less likely that straps will come loose from bouncing on rough pavement when strapping wheels or axles.
I was very pleased with the result! While it would have been nice to have the black protector pieces be a bit longer so I didn't need to adjust their position, it's not a major issue since I'm not actually using the pieces the way they were.
The metal attachment points are of high quality. Both the stitching and the webbing seem to be well done. So far, I was very satisfied with the product. I will review it after more use, but at this point I will definitely use it for cars and a UTV.
My job requires me to use this daily. There are a lot of high end vehicles or new vehicles that do not have transporter tie downs that we tow. The strap protector slides where you need it the most on these straps, so it's awesome that it's very durable. The ten flatbeds at our company have always used vulcan products, but now we are switching to these. We haven't scratched or scuffed a rim since they were installed. The product is high quality and will be purchased.
The results I was looking for were very similar to these. This tie down is very well made and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs it.
