China is the source of this product. On the tag sewn into the seam, it is stated as such.
It's a tow strap, to be precise. There isn't a lot of wiggle room here. However, this is a fantastic recovery strap.
You shouldn't use something just because it fits. A tow ball can be accommodated by most straps. Go ahead and kill someone if you want to. Remove the male receiver and replace it with the hitch pin instead. It's not ideal, but if you don't have a shackle, it's a good substitute. The most important thing is to keep yourself safe.
Mine arrived in a bag.

I bought this strap less than a year ago and have only worn it a few times; when I went to inspect it, it was already shredding apart where the loops were. I'd like it replaced or refunded as soon as possible.
I was impressed with how well this stood up to the test of time. The strap is well-made and includes a storage bag. br>br>On our most recent camping trip, I ended up lending this to some fellow campers (firefighters) whose very large fifth wheel camper rig sunk in the mud after some rain and was parked on an incline. I knew this would be a serious test because the camper was an enormous 5th wheel toy hauler and the truck was a beast too. It had sunk about 5 inches into the ground. I'd say the total weight is around 22,000 pounds. br>br>The strap performed flawlessly, showing no signs of stretch or wear while pulling out this monstrous rig. If I ever needed another, I'd buy another right away. The firefighters were also blown away by the setup and inquired as to where I got it. They also expressed interest in purchasing it, so I'd say it has my seal of approval. I had a couple of oEdRo D Ring Shackles (2pc) in my rescue kit as well, and they were equally impressed.
We would use chains and cables attached to heavy equipment when they naturally fell or needed to be trimmed for safety reasons. Those would always snap and break at a breakneck pace. On Amazon, I discovered these. Bought 4. The best tree-climbing tool! Last week, we got together with all four of them for a particular pull-out. In total, 120 feet were covered. Without hesitation, I pulled a massive oak from a ditch that was 30" round and 24 feet long. All of the men were overjoyed to be able to use these. They were feeling more secure than they had in the past. They were successful in extracting a half-dozen other felled trees or branches from incline or valleys. There will be no more steel splinters from handling steel cables, and there will be no more heavy chain hauling up and down incline. This pair of straps is ideal.
My tow straps were purchased as a safety precaution in case of an emergency. My Rocket Straps 3" x 30' Heavy Duty Tow Strap is rated for 30,000 pounds and it delivered! Snow piled up on top of thick, slimy muck as my F150 slid off the road into the shoulder. Our front driver's side wheel was dangling from a 30 foot cliff, while our rear driver's side wheel was suspended 3 feet in the air. The mud and snow were so slippery that not even our 4x4 with a low and locking differential could move it. br>Within 2 minutes of opening the Rocket Straps convenient storage pouch, a Good Samaritan driving a F350 came to my aid. I slipped one loop end into my installed TGL Tow Hitch Step, the other loop end into the F350's tow hitch ball, and it was all done in under 20 seconds. br>Unceremoniously, the bright red Rocket Strap stretched its 30 feet, allowing the towing truck to pull us out of the ditch and onto the asphalt highway comfortably. Everything went off without a hitch from start to finish in just four hours. The time limit is five minutes. My Rocket Straps took another two minutes to roll up and zip into their storage pouch. br>My truck is 5,520 pounds in weight. The Rocket Straps are in perfect condition, as if they had never been used before. They did a great job for me, and I highly recommend them!.
Shortly after we bought it, it was put to use in the real world, pulling out an unfortunate driver. The strap performed admirably, with minimal stretch and a length that is ideal for the majority of our requirements. If the red dye on the strap gets wet, it will stain almost everything it comes into contact with - As a result, be ready for that the first few times you use it. Also, while the strap is small enough in the loops to thread through a receiver hitch (probably 2"), the strap itself is too large and difficult to fold to loop back on itself with this method. Aside from that, this thing is huge! It comes with a second strap to keep it folded up, which is nice. I was expecting it to be thinner and lighter, but nope, totally believe the weight rating on this beast.
When I pressed the clutch in, it immediately returned to its original position. Everything seemed to be fine. And I continued to pull up a variety of items. Great product, and it appears to be extremely durable.
I came on here to give this a positive review because I had a bad experience with a similar product. I was able to hook this strap to my Jeep and pull my car out of my driveway when my plastic "snow chains" failed. This morning, I'm glad I had this strap with me as a backup. For use with the strap, I would suggest purchasing some attachment hardware. I already had some rings to attach the strap to my Hyundai, but finding a place to loop it under my Hyundai in the snow would have been nearly impossible. Most small cars have a front tow ring, so check that before ordering a clevis or shackle to make sure the pin will fit through the hole.
Many other straps I've owned would not have survived the workout we put this one through, completely satisfied with my purchase. Paid for itself the first time I used it, had no issues with a 1 ton yanking my 1/2 ton out of a snow-covered ditch, many other straps I've owned would not have survived the workout we put this one through.
