It is a SECRET that RHINO USA does not manufacture in the United States... This is BS advertising, I just picked up my 30 feet tow strap, and it says "MADE IN CHINA" on the tag! A tire gauge and a tire pressure gauge were ordered Additionally, all three boxes of shackles are marked Made in Philippines. It is terrible that this company is playing on the Made in USA idea while making false claims. Yes, they are designed and engineered at a kitchen table in California, so let's not play with words and be honest about where they are manufactured. It may be because everyone would think that these were cheap Harbor Freight items, so they wouldn't buy them at five times the price. This is a bad rhino.
Yes, the products are manufactured in China, however, the product is designed, tested, and engineered in the U.S.
China is the country of manufacture. Because so many consumers still don't understand this topic, it is very clear that this company is misleading them. Although they use the word USA in their name, the first line of their advertising says "Support American companies." yet this product is
I appreciate you taking the time to ask me a As a rule of thumb, the working load limit or WLL is always a factor of 3 of the mid-break strength. A 3" x 20' strap weighs just over 10,000 pounds so we have a WLL over

It is stated on the listing for this item that the product is made in the United States of America (Rhino "USA"). Even though the company is a family business in California, its products are not made in the USA. Moreover, this is not a "recovery" strap, as indicated by the product name. Listed as a tow strap, this item should be included in the tow strap section. If a tow strap is changed for a recovery strap, there are significant differences and risks to life and property. In the process of recovery, a recovery strap is intended to stretch, thus transferring the energy of the moving vehicle to the stuck vehicle. The result is that recovery is less jarring when the strap is stretched. A static tow strap ought to be described as such, not a recovery strap, and it should not be implied that it is a product made in the United States.
When you have a name like Rhino USA and advertising that asks you to back a US-based company, you get a sense that the products are Made in the If you wish to buy a product made in the US, you may be willing to pay a bit more. The RHINO USA Recovery Tow Strap 3" x 30ft I received was clearly marked "MADE IN CHINA" on the box, which was very disappointing to me. It will be returned to you regardless of what the claims claim, such as "superior quality" or "guaranteed quality" "The best experience of your life".
It is very disappointing. Doing more research would have been a good idea. As advertised, it represents a "recovery" strap, but in fact it constitutes a tow strap only. The straps do not stretch as they should, as they are called snatch straps / recovery straps. Make sure to keep this in mind when purchasing. You can't recover with a rolling start, which gives you extra momentum to pull out of the hole, since this is a TOW STRAP only. If the strap is too loose, you need to pull it tight and attempt towing recovery. Besides selling them under the Rhino USA brand, these products are made in China. This is also a misleading tactic.
My wife and I were delighted to receive 3" 30ft Recovery straps from Rhino USA, and within a week we had used them to extricate my landlord's John Deere ranch tractor from the water where we have been stabilizing a rain damaged culvert. Fortunately, I still had my two older recovery/tow straps under the back seat of my Dodge Ram, so I pulled out one of them to see how it would fare in emergency situations like this. It was well beyond what appeared to be a safe point upon initial engagement and tensioning, so we backed off to assess if we were in the right situation. In the end, we decided not to add another vehicle to the equation because there simply weren't enough spaces for two vehicles to operate It would normally have been my habit to rephrase Although I have rigged both of my old ones, I have not been able to obtain similar tension across both straps, so I thought what the heck, let's see what the new Rhino Strap can In the end, an offshoot of the program was used Hiking on the road I rigged up again and with some shuffling boulders under the tractor we gave it another go and with my fingers crossed and some serious grunting from my Dodge, we managed to get the John Deere out with the Rhino Strap showing no signs of strain. To all of you, whether you are winching or strapping, I also carry up a heavy rolled up furniture pad blanket and drape it over the strap As a result, it reduces the danger of cable or strap flying out of the line if there is a brake on the line. My sincere thanks go to Rhino again. I plan to give several more items.
A cast iron wood stove was the first thing I pulled on a sled from my barn. I liked it a lot. When I used it for the second time, I had to pull a trailer out of the snow and ice, and the rope was frayed a bit In the past four years, I've gotten a Tacoma out of a ditch and a Foxbodies Mustang from a snow bank. Even though the manufacturer would not recommend it, it has held up during that time! * The company has also offered to replace my frayed strap when I requested it. I would recommend them to a friend since they have shown excellent service!.
My order for a 30 feet strap was placed When I received mine, the fabric had frayed and been As for the price, there are better alternatives I have used in the past, I am concerned the tears might have an adverse effect on the product's durability, so this is a safety issue. RHINO's biggest issue is that they tout their product here as Made in the USA, but the box the product is packaged in says it is Made in China. This product is proudly manufactured in the US. That's interesting. What does it In other words, they selected the green and black color scheme and told the factory workers in China to manufacture All this is a gimmick to advertise. You might find a more transparent company elsewhere. Although I do not have a problem with buying products from China, I do have an issue.
There isn't much else in the marketing on this product. Too bad it's just that The marketing department. The Recovery Strap is made in China, so it does not function as an actual recovery cord. The static towing strap looks like this Even so, it was an average one The straps on kenetic recovery devices are NOT the same. This tow strap is not meant to be used to snag a vehicle, or you will bend metal and possibly injure someone.
