When winching out of the woods, this is a great tool to have in case you get stuck or you reach a high center of gravity. I'm not sure how it would work with a plow since I've never used one.

For a couple hundred dollars this strap is great for light duty tow work with my Tacoma (usually another Tacoma).
Priced at only $200 this is a great strap for the price. I tow three Toyota Tacoma 2nd gen tows and it holds up just fine. It wasn't too heavy of a load for them since they were helping. If you pick up slack too quickly, the bridle will slide.

This is a well-made, durable product. It originally came in handy to winch my side by side out of a hole, but it came in handy for cleaning deer too. The deer was easily dragged up from the ground using this harness attached to a rafter, a pulley attached to an eyelet, and a long shackle attached to the eyelets.
