Product Description

TRUCKERS KNOW that properly organizing straps and other tiedowns is vital to the smooth running of their company. How many of us have the patience to roll up those long straps every time the straps are wide?
No matter if you are a professional or just a weekend hunter, this STRAP WINDER will be the perfect addition to any truck and trailer.
The instructions can be found in the pictures. slip the loose end of the strap through the spool and fold over one of the spokes. After holding the strap in place, turn the spool over the loose end to complete the process. Once the strap is rolled up, you can slide it off! Keep winding the strap until the strap is rolled up and you can slide it
This application doesn't require any hardware to install it is easy to set up. Place the threaded end of the Z bar through the tunnel at the end of the winder and screw on the spool all the way (spokes facing outward). Secure the securing bar by looping it over a stake pocket or side rail up to a maximum of 1/2" thick bolt the fitting so that the winder cannot be moved.

We don't take anything for granted
5/5

A curtainside trailer is the cargo I haul over the road as a truck driver. After working for my employer for several weeks, I got a strap winder from the truck stops of poor quality, and when I tried to use it, the welds failed. Although I wanted to buy one right away, the prices at truck stops were too high for me. I just found this one, and I'm blown away by its Truck-friendly metal is thick, so it can actually withstand the rigors of transportation. It has high quality fittings and welding, and doesn't have any shoddy spot welds that cannot withstand In case I ever need it, I think I'll buy an extra for safety's sake, however, I'm not sure I'll actually need one.

Here are a few things you need to consider when using this handy little device
3/5

The strap winding tool makes it easy to wind straps. While it has a few shortcomings, here are a few of them Since it has no bearings to limit the side-to-side movement of the handle and play of the crank, it squeaks quite a bit because it wobbles so much. The second thing I would like is it would be nice if it had a premade pad for the tightening nut to prevent the set screw from digging into the reflector dots. In both directions, the edge of the metal digs into the strap when straps are wound from behind. If it were rounded, it would be more strap friendly. I think that this simple inexpensive tool is sufficient to get the job done. Just keep in mind my observations if you use it. If you want to limit the end play, you can make a piece of rubber work to cover the stickers and then add your own washers. A piece of duct tape can be used to cover the edges on the back side.

Three weeks after breaking it, it broke
3/5

I was able to use the controller for the first week, then it began to squeak which was extremely It took about 3 weeks for the part that holds it to the trailer (specifically the welds) to fail, and now it is nearly falling apart. If it is not attached to the trailer, it will be completely useless. The strap is too short, and I don't know if I got a defective one or if all of them need to be reinforced. I hate winding the strap by hand, so I need to find a more convenient option.

This is a great deal on an even better product
5/5

My third purchase of this product has not been due to braking, but rather due to my lapse of attention. It has been my experience that if you spread a little grease on these when they are new, they will stop making an annoying squeak. We will do this in the future.

Worked on Windows 10 but not on a Mac There are several types of trailer flatbeds
3/5

Despite the fact that I do not drive an 18-wheeler My ram 4500 has a CM flat bed and I still drive a class A vehicle. The device was intended for winding straps, but upon installation was plagued by two major issues The straps were too low, so I had to bend over to wind them, and 2) the handle is not far enough out to clear the tool boxes, so I can't turn it fully. The fact that it's not functional as intended leads me to return it. Overall, the product was easy to assemble, and the material looked solid, but I feel it's not useful to me at all.

If you drive a flatbed without it, you will wreck
5/5

He is beginning his drive as a commercial flat bed driver, so we bought him this for his first vehicle. I'm sure he loves it a lot. In the end, it reduces his strap winding time by a lot. It allows him to be on the road more often, meaning the opportunity to earn Despite the fact that he has only been using this for one week, I believe it has already paid for itself.

It's frustrating when you have to get the strap out of a box and find that it's all tangled up, intertwined, and catching on everything in the box when you try to remove it
5/5

These problems are no longer an issue thanks to this strap winder. In order to wind up the straps neatly, you have to wind them up by hand rather than gather them up by hand. The purchase would be better if I had made it years I would rate this product a 5.
