This jack is equipped with the three-pronged jack. It has a ton jack sticker on it, weighs 66 pounds, and is extremely lightweight. It has a low profile and, as advertised, a dual piston. However, my package arrived in all black, not the black and blue as shown in the photos. Also, in the pictures, a scratch guard for the jack handle is shown, but mine did not come with one. br>br>If a company is going to include pictures, the product that they deliver should reflect that. I appreciate your taking the time to read this.
The product arrived in excellent condition. Careful when removing the clip that holds the handle in the down position for shipping; it shot off like a rocket while I was prying it off, and I never found it. I believe it flew over my 6 foot wood fence and into my neighbor's yard; it's probably a good idea to wear safety glasses for that task. I removed the cover with the oil filler plug and pumped the jack several times with the handle in the counter clockwise position, bending the rubber plug over a little with a screw driver to let the air out. In addition, I applied jack oil to the jack. It works great and hasn't given me any problems so far, but I've only used it once. I don't see any issues with this jack for a long time.
The jack itself is in good condition, but shipping was a nightmare. It arrived a week and a half late, prompting a replacement order to be sent. Then it arrived, and it was too late to change it. It's just not worth it.
Because this was a gift, I assume everything is in working order because there have been no complaints. Many of the negative reviews for this product were due to poor packaging and shipping treatment, but that was not the case this time.
This is an excellent jack. It fulfills all of its promises. It was purchased for the mechanic who works on my car, but he was unable to use it. Because it's made of steel, it's extremely durable, but it's also quite heavy, weighing in at 66 pounds. Due to the weight and the fact that he does not have a smooth working surface, use was difficult. It was necessary for me to return to iy.
The item did not come with the padding on the bar that was shown in the picture, which was an important feature for protecting the car. I expected it to come as pictured for the price, but I'll have to buy that part separately now. It isn't worth it to return the entire 70-pound package.
My husband, as previously stated, is a tool snob who adores this. He said it was perfect, and while I am not a mechanic, he is, and he raved about it.
