How many bolts will I require to secure the engine to the chassis?

Because the attachment arms are 2 1/2" long, the bolts should be 2 1/2" long (depth of the Bell Housing Bolt Hole). I ended up leaving some wiggle room on my and compensating with some whashers.

Is it compatible with a fa20 engine from a scion fr-? Is it better to drive a Subaru WRX or a Subaru WRX STI?

Is this compatible with the Subaru EJ25?

I looked up a picture of the Subaru EJ25 engine on the internet because I'm unfamiliar with it. I'm not sure if the mounting arms on the top (upper) engine stand will reach the engine block mounting holes on the top. I paid four dollars for this engine stand. All of the mounting arms on the 9 Caddy engine easily reach a four-point mounting location, which is comparable to the bellhousing pattern of any domestic V8 engine. It's well worth the small outlay to give it a shot for the price.

I needed to bring an engine into school for a project, and I purchased this stand because it was inexpensive and attractive, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING IT WITH AN ENGINE ON IT. I read reviews that said the stand wheels would break, but mine did the opposite; one of the wheels locked up, so I applied more force to move it, but the stand tipped over and landed on my foot, and as I write this review, I'm waiting to see a doctor for an xray to see if my foot is broken. 1 star.

The good news is that I greased each of the rear axles prior to installing the wheels, and they now roll smoothly. I actually like 90 of the stand. A little tippy but as a 3 wheeler that is to be expected as a 3 wheeler that is expected as a 3 wheeler that is expected as br>br>The bad news is that I didn't get the stand pictured because my single caster has a single bolt through the square tube wall design rather than the four bolt plate. My small Block Chevy 283's forward caster has failed after only moving about 15 feet. It's currently dropping ball bearings on my garage floor. The caster bearing and shaft, not the thru bolt, are the ones that are failing. br>br>I've been looking for a replacement caster but haven't been able to find one. I guess I'll have to purchase a four-bolt caster similar to the one shown in the advertisement and have it welded to the tube. Of course, this will be more expensive than the $49 I paid for the stand.

I wish there was a way for me to give this a negative review. This is deserving of a negative 5 star rating for being the biggest piece of crap I've ever paid money for. Unfortunately, I was only able to give one star. Before purchasing this, I read the one-star reviews as well as the five-star reviews. I decided to buy it because I didn't have much money left after buying my motor, and I know how to weld, so I could reinforce it if necessary. A HUGE MISTAKE. So I used an electric winch and a pulley that was low enough to bolt on to lower my motor. I bolt it all together and push it into my garage, which has been freshly swept and leveled. It shifted a fraction of an inch, and then BAM, the front wheel snapped off! The engine I had just purchased two days prior had completely failed. The cast aluminum mount that supports the alternator was destroyed, causing over $100 in damage. This is a 302 with a 450 pound weight. It's not even close to the 750-pound limit. So I yanked the engine back up and welded a 1-inch hole in it. With two wheels in front instead of one, attach a 1/2" 1/8" thick square tube bar to it. This is the cheapest metal I've ever seen used in a product. That means a lot coming from someone who welds cheap items that people break all the time. I burned right through the metal, which is made of cheap plastic, while welding it together. The regular mild steel from the steel yard, which was the same thickness but smaller in diameter, was noticeably heavier and of higher quality. br>br>I had no idea a company could make such a piece of garbage and then sell it. This item's 750lb rating is the biggest lie of any item I've ever purchased from any site, and it's also the first time I've ever given a one-star review. This is the last time I will buy anything from this company.

It was simple to put together, but it is difficult to turn

While the weight capacity of this item may be adequate for a 400-pound engine, the straight 6 3. Due to the balance of the head, two BMW engines I use tipped over, causing over $1000 in damage. I'm really disappointed that I bought this item because the engine slouches so much. It was simple to put together, but it does not turn smoothly, and the engine will not move. br>br>Perhaps a small v8, such as a Ford 260/289/302, would suffice, but I'm disappointed I didn't get something to move. I'm literally holding it together with multiple safety straps, and I can't tighten it down without help.

It's very simple to assemble the engine stand

I wasn't sure if this engine stand could hold my LT1 5. At first, I was skeptical. 7 V8, but it did, and it did so effortlessly. The engine stand is simple to assemble, with simple instructions. The only thing that could be improved is the length of the metal rod used to turn the engine. I had to use a long pipe to get enough leverage to spend the engine, but overall, I give this product 5 stars.

The engine stand wobbles a lot when the "brain" part is installed into the stand itself, making it difficult to recommend it to anyone else

To keep the engine from spinning on its own, a safety pin is inserted into the hole. However, the pin cannot prevent the stand from wobbling on its own. To prevent the wobble, I believe I'll need to weld some nuts on the side and use large bolts to tighten the stand. br>br>The stand arrived in pieces because shipping the item that way is easier. The instructions were adequate, but not exceptional, and you should be able to figure out how to put it together simply by looking at the photos. br>br>Because there is a single bolt that goes through multiple pieces to hold the assembly together, one of the legs has a slight wobble. To avoid this wobble, I'm debating whether or not I should weld the legs. br>br>*********Update May 10, 2016**********
I needed to buy another engine stand quickly, and this one caught my eye because of the low price and Prime shipping to Hawaii. br>br>The most affordable engine stand in the area costs around $100. This one is $52, so it's a no-brainer for me to buy it and wait. br>br>The first one I got has a VQ35DE engine from a 2003 Maxima in it. A VQ35DE engine from a 2005 Maxima needs to be disassembled as well. br>br>The engine stand's drawback is its 750-pound load capacity. I'd never put a four-cylinder engine in there. 0l or more is required. The 3. This stand appears to be too heavy for a 5L (alum block with alum heads).

It's shaky, but it works

For a side project, a friend and I bought this engine stand, which made the job a lot easier. The wheels do not lock, which is a major flaw we discovered. This made it difficult to work on the engine, so we built a small frame for the stand to sit in while we worked. It was extremely versatile and simple to operate. There are some engineering improvements that could be made, but for the price we paid, it's a good deal.

I'm not sure why this is regarded as insecure or dangerous. As long as the bolts are tightened properly, everything works as it should. I'd give it a four out of five. The only reason I gave it five stars is because the instructions included are a little lacking. Apart from that, it's a good product.
