A good way to contact me is by e-mail You always received a response within a few days when you sent email. The mounting kit was installed on my 2011 Chevy 1/2 ton truck with extended cab and 78 tires. The size of the bed is 7". As I mentioned above, I have installed 3 hitches of this type. Two of them were B & D On 3/4 ton trucks, W brand is used. It was a natural choice for me to try this- The price of the tite hitch was a consideration since structural strength was not as big of a concern since it would go on a half ton pickup. As an introduction before getting into the details of the hitch, let me state that I bought my hitch from AutoAccessories4less, and their customer service was outstanding. A good way to contact me is by e-mail Their email responses were always within 1 business day of sending, and their willingness to correct any mistakes was very obvious. There was a tear in the box and I was missing the ball and any instructions that came with the unit. It was promptly taken care of without excuses by the seller. These hitches are nice because you don't have to remove the bed, but for my truck, I had to remove all the bed bolts in order to pull the cross rails through, then slide them ahead enough to secure the rear carriage bolts before inserting them into the It was impossible to shift the rails without more room to wiggle when there were obstructions from shock mounts and brake lines. Two other issues were that the installation instructions did not match the hardware and components of the An online copy of the prize draw was sent to me Likewise, I discovered the same thing on the Tite site. While most of the hardware that came with my unit worked, I had to get a couple of 5/8 x 6" grade 8 bolts and matching washers because my units did not come with them There is a nut on each side of the frame for bolting. The assembly instructions indicate a U-bolt in the frame I used a prepunched flat bar piece and long carriage bolts to achieve the same result, yet the kit used a bolt and carriage hangers. I don't know if this is the right way to do it, but I'm pro at doing it myself. The problem here was that the diagram for how the finished product should look was not detailed. For a do-it-yourselfer like me, the diagram is usually enough to know how to assemble things. Among the things I did not understand about the instructions was the distance mentioned for drilling the hole in the bed of the truck. instructions stated 42 7/16 inches from the back of the bed (the same as the shorter 69". On crew cabs, the bed is 30 inches long). To make the distance as short as possible for my truck, I chose 45 1/4". There is something AMAZING about this hitch because they used slots where the bolts go that assemble the unit, which gives you ample room to adjust the hitch side to side and front to back if you were to miss drill the hole in the bed a tiny bit. I recommend drilling the hole 45 1/2" from the back of the bed once you have completed all the other steps. If I had to do it again, I would probably be able to finish it in 3 hours if I just had an extra set of hands or an extra pair of eyes to help me if I climbed out from under the bed from time to time to look at something or check something. As a whole, I am satisfied with the end result. I gave it 4 stars solely because I didn't expect something this much cheaper than their competitors to be as good, and because I had no difficulty working around the short comings. Comparing the quality and fit of this to add-on accessory products from DeeZee is helpful.
I could pull my 3-horse trailer with a 5-inch offset with no problems using this product. Overall, the cost is fair compared to other setups. However, the ease of installation is only 50/50, so unless you are a backyard mechanic or have all the tools to install it, the process will take you a long afternoon. It was easy to drill the hole for the bed because all the holes lined up, but the bed had to be raised a bit for the frame rail to catch. There are a few more hoops to jump through, but otherwise everything is great.
My 2016 GMC Sierra Denali short bed is a tite. The event is being organized by To be sure this was the underbed hitch I needed, I contacted Tite. Without a doubt, yes. There was only one mistake they forgot to ask if I have It interferes with the flow of the text with a couple of small brackets. A third of my money was spent on that My truck was not usable for 3 days more and I had to pay labor charges for hours worked. In addition to that, the brackets that support the safety chain are utterly unprofessional. There was a size difference, and the workmanship was There is a problem with the ball release on the gooseneck. moving it all the way out to its supposedly locked position, it pops back into its original position with a slight shake of the truck. You'll need to find someone to I am not sure how useful that is. A response from Draw hasn't been received If there is extra time or charge, let me know. Despite the fact that the hitch does not fit, nothing has been actually done about it. It is impossible to come up with an honest, responsible answer for Whenever I go to the store, I'll pick up the BW kit.
In this case, the Initially, my neck said it would fit my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 Light-duty truck The truck has a six-cylinder diesel engine and an extended cab. Box does not, the 4434 for the HD appears to fit better, since it looks like it fits the frame lines for this vehicle much better than a 5' ft box. All over the web, this hitch is advertised as fitting, but the truth is that it won't. This pick-up is suitable for light duty situations According to its specs, the 'Up that year came with an HD frame and a different rear axle, but it came with an LD frame. There's a frame curvature of 42" wide prior to the frame, but 44" wide after. This means that flat plates do not work, even with spacers. Although it has a great look, it does not seem to work with this specific.
Overall, it turned out to be a great deal for the price. One thing I did not like was an important piece was missing and the installers had to create something in order for it to It has worked according to plan once they figured out that.
I had a 2004 Silverado with a hitch that fit kind of. Those are the only words I can say at the moment. I did not use a no-drill installation as described for the bed. And there isn't quite enough space between the bed rails and the frame rails, but the bed does bolt down without any issue. forces the hitch into place, sandwiching it between the truck bed and the truck body
But it was still able to go in the truck and work as it should've.
My 2015 1500 chevy fit perfectly. If you take the time to pull the bed and be very careful with the factory wires, you can do it pretty easily. As seen from the perspective of.
