The lowest point of the ball is near the center where the ball flips over, so it should clear. It sits a little lower than the bed supports underneath, but it should clear fine. You can also reposition your exhaust hangers to fit your hitch if not. I do not believe you will experience any problems.

The installation was performed on a 2012 Ram 2500 truck. I was able to install this product easily per the instructions, and it is very well made. It only took me about two hours to install it myself in my driveway with simple hand tools. If you are planning on dropping the spare tire, that was where I spent most of my time. I had to remove the inner fenders wells in order to gain access to the mounting points for the side plates. The only problem I had was that the threaded holes had some paint inside them, making it very hard to get that forward bolt started. I was extremely impressed that all the hardware fit perfectly into existing holes and that the instructions included instructions to relocate existing electrical plugs. I would have been able to deal with this better if I hadn't been working solo. As I was starting to tighten the bolts, I was trying to hold the center section in place. With the center section suspended by a strap, the process was extremely effective. the installation was very easy, with accurate instructions that are easy to follow.
I am looking for a 2005 Ram Diesel Dually Four Door with an 8' bed. The hitch is really good. There is a bit more money to be paid, but the results are very good. A really good time was had by all. It was a good set of instructions. As for the bed, it has Line X, and I added just a slight bit more than 1/8" for the thickness of the Line X. This was a great product. B & H used high-quality steel that was really thick and durable. My best experience when drilling the 4" hole was to start the drill in reverse and run it for about 10 seconds before it ran out of fuel This led to a nice grove after 20 seconds. After stopping the drill, switch to forward. I had reverse at a slower speed than forward. You'll have to experiment with that and see what speed you like. I can't remember what torque setting was used whether low or high, but the bed metal is very Keeping 1/2" plywood and a bed rug in the truck is my practice. cut out the plywood so as to accommodate the hooks (drilled for the ball), and I slit the rug to accommodate both the ball and the The hooks have been attached with string to enable them to pull themselves through the bed rug. In the evenings, they can be tucked under the bedrug when not in use. Generally, safety chains work well, with some hooks being bigger or thicker then others, but the hooks always shut and remain fastened. There is a great deal of functionality in this lever. Not all bolts and nuts are metric, but they are SAE. This is an all-American product, engineered and manufactured here in the USA. I'm not going to say much more, you just have to buy.
You need to take time to read the instructions and check the diagrams. To get the rest of the structure right, it is crucial to understand how the front cross member is oriented. I can tell you from experience -- it fits perfectly, and it bolts right up. In my opinion, you will save two hours as a result of how it's designed and the price difference is well worth it.
I used it with my 2006 Ram 2500 diesel and it worked great. It took me a couple of minutes to complete. I needed 5 hours since I had to remove my 160 pound fifth wheel hitch and rails. I then installed my 32 pound Anderson fifth wheel hitch in 5 minutes and we were B & B It's amazing what W and Anderson can achieve.
They arrived on time. The boxes were a bit beat up, but nothing was product is amazingly heavy duty and well made, I am glad to see other products of this quality made in North America. The kit is mounted to a 2006 Dodge 3500 Dually 4x4 with an 8-foot While it took a while to install from the ground, it was not too difficult since it was performed sitting under an oversized truck. The only issue I found is that after installing aftermarket dually exhaust, you will have to lower it and use different hangers since mine rubbed after a while. In the future I'd buy this in a heartbeat, but judging by the quality I've gotten something built to last. Had one problem but they quickly provided what I needed (my fault - lost bolt in the frame), so they scored an.
I found these instructions to be very clear and accurate! This is the kind of purchase I wish I made all the time. I'm really impressed with the level of engineering that went into this product. It fits and installs perfectly in my Ram 2500 SB in 2010. It took me around three hours to install it when I was 64 years old and took my time by myself.
Some newer trucks do not come with such warranty coverage. I would do it again if I bought a new vehicle. It's a great hitch, I highly recommend it.
It's a pretty impressive hitch, I must say. Having said that, it was very easy to install, just be sure to chase the threads in the main support bar before you start installing. It seems as though this should be the very first step in the instructions.
