However, I was unable to use it for the show until mid-October. With two people, it would probably have been easier, but I did it all The vehicle had nice welds, nice coating, and everything seemed fine when I took it out of the box. However, the passenger-side bracket seemed to be a little loose. My plans were to put it on and all the bolts that came with it fit perfectly. However, the 1/2" bolt included in the kit for the passenger side did not fit. Then, I bent it a little bit and put my knee on the tire to grab a hold of it. It fit perfectly after I bent it and grabbed a hold of it. If it had been bent during shipping or if it came from the factory that way, I wouldn't have given it five stars but I gave it four instead of five because if I had had to take it off the car it would have probably been three because it leaned.

I purchased a new 2020 Ford Ecosport, and I'd tried ordering a hitch through the Ford dealer, but my order was declined. It was not known how long the shipping would take, or what the price would be. We ordered it from Amazon the next day and had it installed by a small mechanic by the end of the week. It was an “easy install,” according to the people I spoke with (I am 76 years old and I cannot crawl under my car. ) The first one I have is No trim was present on the rear valance because the motor was 0 horsepower. Glad to hear that!.

It arrived bent, but was a good hitch

My hitch arrived bent as well, like many others who have reviewed it. Because my box was not damaged, I can rule this out as a shipping problem. The delivery hitch was simply bent. I was able to mount the driver's side and use a pry bar to pull it in line before installing it. The bend was on the passenger side mounting bracket, so I was able to mount the driver's side. During the installation, we would have spent less than 15 minutes because of the bend. Currently, I am driving a 2021 Ecosport with a 2 liter engine. 0. No modifications were necessary, but it was not necessary to remove the bumper trim or lower the center pipe. I love how well-designed and well-fitting it is. If it had not been bent, it would be.

Currently I am in the process of purchasing a 2018 ecosport with a 2. 5L engine. As opposed to the 1, this one is a bit different. Mine had the blank off panel for the exhaust setup and it had a 0L. It was a straight fit thanks to the simple instructions. A common tool can be used to get the setup up and running. To install the extra bolt you will need a 15mm bolt through the factory bolts and a 19mm bolt through the factory bolts.

A few metric combination wrenches and a screwdriver were all that was needed to install it. On all wheel drive vehicles equipped with the 2, it would be wise to remove the muffler. There are no engines that output less than 0L. Installing a hitch is made easier by this simple device. Despite the hitch fitting perfectly and being flawless, it still works perfectly!.

The product is good for the ecosport, but it was bent when it arrived

He also did not help to throw it off his truck when it was delivered. Using my hands, I bent it back into place. I installed it on my own with no difficulty. The fact that my Eco Sport's bolts are pre-threaded is also a great feature. In addition, it does not protrude too far from the bumper and is neatly hidden. A jet ski or a larger single axle trailer will not be a problem. In a video you can find on youtube, you will see how to complete the installation of the hitch on the Ecosport as well as the wiring.

I would buy it again. . . . needless to say, the muffler did not even need to be removed There is one bolt that needs to be installed manually, but the other bolts are already attached. The installation is demonstrated very well in the video from etrailer on Youtube. This looks factory new, and it's a great deal!.
