Questions & Answers
The part is for a Jeep Wrangler from 2007 to 2011
I had no problem with it it fit perfectly on me
The question would need to be answered by the manufacturer, but I don't see why it couldn't be done as the rear of the frames should still be the same as back in 2007.
For a JK Wrangler, this is the factory style hitch. A square and the holes are about 2 1/4 inches apart between the square and the holes, it is about 1 1/2 inches

The hitch has not yet been used for towing or recovery, so I can only report the installation and observations I have made. The Jeep frame appears to be left with some "space" between it and the bracket, as some other reviewers have pointed out. Once all the bolts are torqued down, you are done. I also have no gaps, spaces or rattles, so the fit is very solid. It was not necessary to shim with washers or spacers. The bumper could remain on after installation, as I didn't have to remove it. We had a little trouble getting all the bolts in place, but it was not difficult. Overall, it took us about 15 minutes to install. Powder coating is a tough covering and should be able to last quite a while. Already owning the Rugged Ridge 17275, I decided to upgrade. I clipped in the plug on the 01 wiring harness to the bracket on my The field application of this hitch is exactly what I am looking forward to.
The hitch receiver I purchased is to replace the receiver on my stock hitch, since it did not work with my new Hard Rock 10A Integrated nuts are provided on the stock receiver to hold the screws in place. There are differences in the 10A/Hard Rock bumpers in that they don't have bolts that screw directly into the bumpers, and they must be flush with the hitch receivers. Despite being inexpensive, this solution was perfect for our needs. The stock one is not only strong and well made, but it is light as well. I also found the clip that holds the trailer wires to make a perfect fit in the box. In addition to the bolts that came with the bumper, I used the ones from the bumper for this project. Despite being provided with bolts, I did not use them. Although it is hard to tow anything with a two door JK, I love it none the less. Originally, I was going to upload pictures, but for some reason I wasn't able to do so. The reviews that I read on Amazon are very valuable to me when I buy anything, so I put a lot of effort into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon, for both my business and personal use. The one that we have described here is similar to the heavy duty one that is available from dealers You need to hear what I have to say. The bumper I bought had a steel plate on the back with a hitch receiver welded on the back. My initial reaction was one of love Taking care of everything at once. In south west Florida, I hooked up my Mako 21LTS for a day of flats fishing. The jeep seemed to bob up and down like someone was jumping up and down on the boat trailer tongue when I got back home. As soon as I got home, I discovered the back bumper was 15 degrees bent. My jeep has a 4" lift with 37" tires and I did have a 4" drop hitch installed with my 4" lift, so that definitely increased the moment arm, but the tongue weight was still under the standard weight. As a result, I cannot say that I would be writing this letter if the bumper had failed. If you buy a hitch, make sure the frame is bolted to it, and buy a bumper that is independent of it. The Rugged Ridge 11546 was purchased by me. We have a new 20 Textured Black Rear XHD hitch which works great with this hitch. It will be only a short time here, so let's make sure to Wishing you a long and prosperous life!.
I installed this using my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It only took 15 minutes to remove the rear bumper, and the installation was a breeze! Videos on how to do things can be found on YouTube. This would be a purchase I would make.
There is a great deal that allows for yet another anchor point as well as space for a hitch-mounted In about 30 minutes, I was able to install it. Because the washers and nuts are loose (rather than welded into place), adding a step to the process makes the installation more challenging. This bumper does not have much clearance between the frame member and bumper. When threading the washers and nuts, I was able to get them in place with a needle nosed pliers, but I think a long nosed pair of hemostats would have been As much as I dislike doing installation, threading the nuts proved to be the hardest part. Once they were threaded, they cinched down without a struggle. Moreover, the packaging must be heavy duty. Due to the double layer of the inner cardboard box, it is unlikely to get damaged during transportation.
The installation was a snap. In addition to how-tos, there are also There are thousands of videos available on YouTube. In the end, I had to partly unscrew the rear bumper (the plastic part) on my 2016 Wrangler unlimited, but that was also simple to do. Under the jeep, there is so much space that all you need is to have the willingness to lay down on the concrete for an hour or two. You don't need to use any special tools. Using just a standard wrench and my socket wrench, I fixed my car. Despite only using it a few times, I have not experienced any problems with it. I have hauled a 300-pound load a few times with it.
Although item appears to be well made, it was imported As stated in the documentation, it is a Class 2 hitch and will only support a tongue load of 200 lbs regardless of installation (2 door or 4-door). Despite the appearance, nuts on the install are not welded on as the photo indicates and can be easily modified using tape. My intention was to return the item because of tongue specs, but I chose to pay $10 more elsewhere for a class 3/4 hitch with welded nuts, which is further from the bumper, and is made in the USA. For your information HINT HINT I ordered a Reese hitch online (with the coupon code) from an auto parts dealer that has a name that implies that you will "move forward. ". Although it is a good deal for the price, for an extra $10 buck there are much better deals to be found out there.
They are easy to install and are of good quality. The design is good and the installation is easy. I spent about 30 minutes on the phone. This look is fantastic on my 2017 Jeep OEM is the same as The instructions do not direct you to remove the rear bumper before installation (I found this easier to do). By removing six bolts, the rear bumper can be easily removed. As well as the Rugged Ridge wiring harness which connects directly to the tail light wiring, I also used the wiring harness from Rugged Ridge. Simple to install, took less than five minutes.
