This is the baddest boy of the bad boy hitch receivers for RVs. After slipping it on, you'll never be able to take it off. It fits around a 4x4 bumper. The vertical plates were hard to set on this beast and I had to use a rubber mallet to do so. As such, the cargo hitch will not be coming off now that it is on and I have never been confident placing it in the back and knowing it will be there when our trip comes to an end. It takes a lot of force to hold up these brackets. The beam adds safety and protection in case of poor welding. It is expensive but well built. If you need some extra peace of mind, this would be worth the cost.
