As far as I know, the tongue rating has not been reached, but it is a solid forged piece of steel as opposed to a two-piece According to my research, it is easily capable of meeting the published TW/GTW ratings of 2400/16000.
Measuring from a center to center varies a little depending on where the measurement is taken, but the measurement between the two centers is approximately 10".

Apparently, I underestimated this puppy's size and weight, as it is quite substantial in a way similar to heavy equipment/bulldozer/industrial machinery. This is what I'm using for "3-" It was a bit of a rise on the 2018 Subaru Outback pulling a teardrop trailer for off-roading. This thing is not a fast or smooth surface, so the first bumper is going to impale itself on it. Attempting 3 reps of lifting this thing overhead was a bad idea for my deltoids, so I don't recommend it. Due to the fact that it is intended to be attached to a substantial hitch, it can cause serious injury or even death if mishandled while being lifted The hardcore aspect of it is evident. You really should.
My need for a higher capacity ball mount led me to these Draw-Eye Ball Mounts I recommend the Tie Forged mounts because they are so affordable. The trailer fits securely in my receiver so that it doesn't rattle, and it's more than strong enough to handle any trailer I tow. As it stands, Curt forged mounts are not as popular as I find them to be. It has a loose fit in the receiver, and the trailer rattles when it is pulled. It doesn't seem quite as nice on the Curt ones, but of course, that doesn't matter so much when you're dealing with something so simple. I am very happy with my draw- I am very happy with it You'd be hard-pressed to find a better mount than Tie. In addition to my 4" and 6" drops, I'am planning to get a 2" drop sooner than later, too, and it will definitely be another one like this one.
This thing is massive, heavy, and well constructed. I have a RAM 1500, so this height works out well for the trailer.
As I did with my previous purchase. It is a massive drop. My old trailer had a drop of 6 inches, which was too low in the front of my new trailer. This one has a 4 inch drop, so hopefully it will be.
There's no doubt that this receiver will give you value for your money. It would be good to get a 7500lb verse like this.
load rating. It is built like a tank and is heavy as well. The price is reasonable, and the product does what it's supposed to do. With a product as good as this, there is almost nothing to complain about.
It does what it is supposed to do! The building is very well constructed.
This is the best option for long-term use that is reliable.
