As soon as I opened the packing box, I could tell by looking at the product's box that it was made in China. I only had to look at the box to identify its origin. A Made in China label can be seen clearly on the box. Assuming the hardware included is manufactured in China as well, I can only think it is made there as well. The last time will never come.
The 2006 Toyota Tundra is equipped with this system. Initially used the 5/8" x 3" carriage style bolts that were provided but couldn't use them since they were to short and wouldn't go in flush from the front. Replaced them with 5/8" x 4" hex style bolts and extra washers. New hex bolts were dropped into existing holes under the bumper cover, with the extra washers tucked under. On my 1993 Toyota Pickup, it looks like it was specially molded for the bumper. had to spend about $10 at my local True Value store to get the proper hardware because I was unable to use the carriage bolts that came with it. I think it will be fine for the bike rack and cargo rack that I have. I think I will need a regular hitch if I have.
Towing my lite duty trailer with this is ideal at low speeds and in a local environment. For heavy burdens or regular long hauls, I do not recommend it. Despite this, it is almost as reliable as your step bumper. The product was perfect for my light duty intermittent purposes.
I used it on my Titan and it worked perfectly.
I am satisfied with the quality of the metal and the quick delivery. It's best to use the 'lock-' command You should put a good bit of pressure on the bolts even though the instructions don't specify that.
This product fits perfectly on my S10 bumper, was easy to install, had excellent quality, and a great price. Would definitely recommend.
My 1994 Toyota pickup is compatible with this part. The product is well made and I would recommend it.
