All makes use the same 'standard' connection size of 7 wire connectors. This should work fine.
You may not be able to use this item on There is a list of the types of plugs that the package fits on the package. Plug with 7 TO 4 connectors. Here is an adapter that fits 7-prong round plugs into 4-prong flat plugs. Depending on what type of plug you have, you should be able to determine how it is attached to the trailer hitch.
Due to your mention of 7 and 5 pins, I am unsure of the best way to respond One end of this tow cord has a round 7 pin and the other a flat 4 pin. When the wiring is correct, the round 7 pin always goes to the truck, RV or tow vehicle since, if the wiring is correct, it is used to power the vehicle being towed, turn, stop, Thus, you will not be able to / should not use the 7 pin connector with a towing On the other hand, you could use it if you have a 4-point flat connector at each end. If you wish to use turning signals, marker lights, or stop lights on your trailer, then you may use this cable (since it is designed to work on trailers and vehicles such as F150). Here is what I meant to say. I hope it is clear and precise.
It is roughly 2 feet wide (with straight ends) when it is not stretched out. It was claimed by the manufacturer it could stretch up to 6 feet, but this claim has not been independently verified. My pleasure! Thank you very much for your question.

As others have said, the cord is shorter than it appears. It is a round 7 pin cord with a plug that is supposed to fit into a round 7 wire outlet in a vehicle. In 7 pin plugs, there are only 4 metal clips, so the plug is a loose fit and it loses connections due to the lack of metal clips. Rather than put 3 metal clips in the other 3 connectors, Reese saved money by not doing so. The picture shows how this works. This is returning due to the fact that lights sometimes work, sometimes don't, and the design is poor.
They used inferior wiring on this product, which would have made it an excellent product. It is very disappointing that the product does not last. It is better to shop elsewhere for a more satisfying.
It was necessary so my CRV and motorhome could be towed together. As with all the Reese products I have bought, it works well, but the four pin end does not have anything to keep it attached to the connector. It seems like this is at risk of being dislodged with the wind blowing behind my motorhome. solution is to use a velcro strap to retain the phone. The product should have been provided with it, as Reese should have considered it.
A few years ago, I bought an old I have 7-months worth of money The rear license plate permits easy access to the adapter, but the slot 4-inch mount proves more difficult to find The pin adapter is wired in up underneath, where it is not only hard to reach but could also potentially damage the wiring if it is With this Reese adapter I can use the trailer or when I have to extend the hitch back three feet to accommodate my camper. It is coiled, so I can use it on the trailer or when I have to carry a camper as well. The cover plate locks into it to provide a secure fit, so it won't pull loose while stretched, either. The design is very good, and the execution is very good as well. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Powered by a Jeep Wrangler to haul a boat. I was very satisfied with the results. I used it to tow a Jeep Wrangler behind a motorhome for a trip across the country and back, I towed it for 8500 miles and never had any problems. This was a great solution.
I'd say it's a stretch to walk 8 feet. A connection can be made for five feet, but any longer could result in the cord being severed. It would be better if I looked closer I have a female end on the front of my Jeep, and this product has a female end as well. My vehicle has a rubber cap to protect it and keep it clean. I don't want to change it. The item will have to be returned. It looked good, but it seems like it isn't an option.
Although it works and appears to be good quality, I had to make an adapter to connect my truck and it had the same four flat end, so I ended up making an adapter for both ends, no big deal, possibly they have another plug and I accidentally got the wrong one.
As a result, I wired my fifth wheel trailer to pull double and instead of tying my trailer lights to my camper, I ran a new wiring down the underside. In my case, it was needed to connect my 7 way on my bumper to the plug on the front of the fifth wheel (near the front jacks), it stretched with every turn I made even backing in at a 90° angle, and it never once pulled out while working. Overall, I think it has worked out just as I expected.
