I'm lucky to have that happen to me! The question is, what should we Not at all. An extension was suggested by my son. Until recently, I wasn't aware of their existence. Thus I came here and took out the CURT 58050 vehicle- Views from the side and from the trailer- The fourth side Wiring harness with pins on flat sides. The rope was too long, but I was able to tie it off by taking up the slack. It works like a charm now that the trailer is lit up! The price is very reasonable and I am very pleased with the product. It is an amazing piece of equipment. The power is transferred to another object several inches away as soon as you plug it in to a power source. It is an amazing piece of equipment.
I had to use a bit of force to get it connected to my topper, but I preferred that over a loose one that could fall out over time. Other than that, it's cheap and works just fine.
I watched my dad install this, but I did not do it myself. It was selected because it had end overs to keep the plug sections from getting clogged up with dirt and moisture. My dad asked me how long I wanted to leave the wires, so there was plenty of wire. It's also nice that the male end and female end fit snugly together, but come apart easily when I want them to. The best thing about having your two plugs locked in place is asking a gentleman if he can help you wind them loose. I am able to separate one end from the other since the ends are tightly secured against the weather, but still fit well enough to allow unplugging of one. It is always a hassle for me to separate one plug from another on trailers and boat trailers that I have owned for so many years, so this towing wire to me is the best part.
haha), but the wiring and material feel decent. Despite the fact that my lights do not use much electricity, it is nice to know that I am not at risk of melting the wiring if I run them for an extended period of time. I'm really impressed with this!.
still had some bags of 8 mil medium density left over from our previous order and they are about half the thickness of those. Rather than returning this item, we intend to order from somewhere else.
I cannot use this particular site without instructions. Ok, I cannot use this site without instructions. The only issue with installing is that it is used as a repair item for some ruined mess that is no longer usable. Besides the wire gauge and whether it was plated aluminum conductors, I was only concerned with the gauge of the wire.
The document was never used. The wire gauge on the trailer is much smaller than the original.
