Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much distance there is between each step in the hitch if you put the steps in?

Similarly, my camper is three feet off the ground, while my receiver hitch sits about 18 inches off the ground. As a result, each step is about one foot apart, although I doubt it is one foot from the top step to the camper.

is the distance between the bottom of the receiver and the first step of the 2" ?

The distance from the bottom of the receiver to the top step is 7 inches It is 1/2 of an inch. Therefore, the distance from bottom of step to top of step is ten inches It is 1/2 of an inch.

Would you be able to provide one that has ?

There are only two steps in mine

When the tailgate is down, does it work?

As my tailgate had to be removed due to overhang on my trailer, I can't answer the question. My third and final task was to drill a hole for the hitch pin, which cut the gap between the top step and the camper by about four OK, I went out and checked it. Having lowered the tailgate, the top step is about 6 inches above the lowered tailgate. An F350 with a factory hitch has this as a tow package on 2011.

A sag in the step is likely over time
3/5

Designed for people who are lightweight. It's so hard to leave this company but I love it so much. How come the steps do not have a little bit more support? Having had this set for a few years, this is the second time they have bent. There is a slight sagging of the steps. It is not necessary for me to abuse them, since I weigh 190 lb. To remedy the step sagging, I have welded two very small supports underneath, which make the steps as sturdy as they've ever been. It is easy to see why that extra step would increase production costs based on the design. I guess it's all good. It is common for people to be heavier than me, so I am sure this is a.

Does the job as described, but is a bit hard to use for those who are not attentive
5/5

I'm getting exactly what I expected - these steps work perfectly That is why the rating is I wish I had looked for something a little lighter, that was more foolproof and had dull On a camping trip last week, I used them for the first time. A couple of bruises and cuts from hitting them are quite impressive. Despite my best efforts, I have not yet been successful. The user made a mistake 100 percent of the time. The plan is to attach some type of soft edging (pipe.

It only takes a small ladder to get into and out of our pickup back camper and it's been working for years
5/5

One of the most important accessories we have purchased is this. I feel like I am walking into my own house. As a result, the puppies are able to come and go as they please. The hardware is easy to use and doesn't take up much space in the storage area. You should purchase a truckbed camper if you do not already have Don't miss out on this fantastic experience.

The steps of a camper
3/5

The steps on these camper are a little wobbly in the receiver. A shim can fix that! The extension for 20 dollars had to be bought from Harbor Freight. The ladder still beats breaking a hip or paying 00 dollars! If you are old like me, then go for it! My camper doesn't overhang so you should be good to go! I'm 63 years old lol!.

A good price for the point and the It is easy to install this item
5/5

It would have been better if a cotter pin was included with it in order to fit the holes. This PKG arrived with a step, as well as a handle poking out of the container. It would be better if you PKG the item better in the future.

These heavy duty steps are not for the faint of heart
5/5

Putting grip tape on the hands was easy. These heavy duty steps are not for the faint of heart. To add traction, I covered my shoes with grip tape. When I road it, it rattles a bit, but nothing that wouldn't be fixed with a few shims. The hitch is what I use to get into my camper on my 1997 Ford F250 4x4.

It fits somewhat loosely in the The product is excellent except for the fact that it wobbles when stepped on from the side, and if the receiver on the truck is slightly oversize, shimming may be necessary

I love the way it feels
3/5

The buttons work well, but they are too My back nearly broke when I landed on the top step of my camper while I was getting ready for a shooting match. While getting in and out I somehow slipped on the top step and landed on my left side. The finishing of these steps is really in need of attention. Even though they are diamond plate, they are dangerous after painting.
