My trailer hitch was able to screw onto this, and the lock pin that I used locked it down so that it wouldn't be stolen. The height of my 6' 2" frame is 200 lbs, and I weigh 60 pounds The year is In the past- Despite my best efforts, my bones do not allow me to vault into the back of a Nissan Titan. My leg hung over the tailgate after standing on this step, then going up the bumper and then stepping on it. As easy as getting up, it is to get My observation is that the step does not wobble or slide. It has a sturdy, non-slip surface with no I plan to leave it mounted permanently since it doesn't stick out much and is not an inconvenience when backing up. product with superb durability, as well as a super price. After seeing this, some of my cronies wanted to know where they could purchase.
I did not use it as a step. There are a few things you might not want inside of the car. I found it useful as far as what I wanted it for.
I like how you hitched. We only gave it 3 stars because it has sharp edges on both sides, which is a bad When you walk into the step in the dark, you will receive a painful shock. It would have been perfectly possible to fix the problem if the edges had been turned over just a quarter inch. Other than that, I love the new step, especially with the non-English speakers Tread surface with a low friction coefficient.
The construction is solid. Using this instead of stairs, I am not old enough to need them to enter my truck camper. This product works great, and I have it mounted in a double hitch so that I can still attach a trailer hitch underneath My foot has slipped off a few times as I have to step up pretty high to use it. It would have been nice if the leading edge had a little tread as I have had to step up quite high to use it. Apart from that, the sole is built well and gives you a lot of confidence once your foot is all the way on it and there is lots.
The tow hitch pin needs to be purchased separately since it is not included. It's quiet and permits us to access the top of our SUV to clean or pack things up there. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product.
The receiver had to be driven in with a 2# hammer, so I don't know if I got the slightly oversized one. The chances of it falling out are slim. To give you a sense of how everything else works, here it is. The purpose for which I love it is evident in my love for the item.
We're old and our legs are weak, so this was just a little high. With the step included in the receiver hitch, it has made it so much easier to get into Overall, it seems to be a well-made product that is quite sturdy.
Then I read about how they flex in hot weather, and almost bought WeatherTech. Although the price is lower than the cheapest hitch step, I am interested in receiving a more sturdy, cheaper version.
