I would like to know if I can utilize the factory prep holes on my super duty or do I have to drill them again?

In order to install the mattress, I had to drill holes in it. I AM NOT referring to the frame.

A bolt on hitch for Ford F-150s was supposed to be available In order to drill holes into the frame, I had to drill holes in the wood. It was not possible to match the measurements of holes in the bed with those of the frame rails after installation. The hitch is very strong, but it's very hard to install compared to just bolting it.
