Product Description

A set of safety chain plates with 1/2in shanks for the 5th wheel

Plates need to be installed beneath the base of the Ultimate Connection underneath the gooseneck ball on the tow vehicle.

Designed to make the installation easier, this plate simplifies the process.

With either the chain hooks or the carabiners, safety chains can be attached to the plate.

It has a higher carrying capacity and is safer because it is made of heavy-duty steel.

The gooseneck is attached to my Andersen Ultimate Hitch by the gooseneck attachment. A chain runs from this plate to the King Pin Adapter on the 5th Wheel.

Does the metal plate have a thickness?

A quarter of an inch is its thickness. The material is very heavy. To keep the truck bed from rattling, I inserted a 1/2" thick piece of hard foam between the plate and the bed.

The only thing you'll find is a preformed steel plate with linked screw links and holes. It has no blinking lights, batteries, or wires. No matter what model or year it is, it will fit.

The product works well, but its noise is distracting

On my Gooseball, it rattles around very loudly because it's so heavy duty. Luckily, I had a piece of rubber mat that I cut to 12" square and drilled a 3" hole in the middle, which I placed over the plate and ball then covered that with the Ultimate hitch.

The program is functioning normally. The chains are too long, but they will be shortened. I like how you made it. Plate made of heavy metal. A gooseneck ball is dropped right over it.
