When you're setting everything up on the Mopar App, it'll ask you for the last six digits of your VIN number, and it'll tell you what kind of truck you have and where you got it, which is a pretty cool App.
Because trailer hitch receiver tubes are standard on the 2017 Ram 1500 Sport, this product should fit.
If this is the case,
If the truck has a factory-installed 2" receiver, it should be fine. On my 2021bighorn, it fits perfectly. The majority of pickup trucks are equipped with a 2-inch receiver.

I really like it. This is made of top-quality rubber and looks fantastic. The material is thick and heavy. Exceptionally long-lasting and simple to set up. It's a good thing I bought this. It's a little more expensive than some of the others, but now that I've held it in my hands, I can see the quality and durability. This product has exceeded my expectations.
It's made of thick rubber and fits snugly over my receiver tube. The plug can get in the way of the trailer coupler at times, but it's otherwise a fantastic product.
It's the perfect fit, looks great, and performs as expected. To the back of the truck, there's a nice OEM addition!.
Fits perfectly on my 2014 Ram 1500 and adds a nice touch to the back end. It was simple to put together, but I'm not sure how long it will last since I only recently purchased it. It appears to be of a high standard. In about 6 months, I'll revise it.
This one looks great on my new RAM 1500 Laramie and fits perfectly.
The plug fits snugly in the receiver and has a nice appearance.
