A 7-way plug requires this. I bought it for that purpose. While my trailer sat over the winter, bugs, water, and grime built up in the plug. My problem looked like it could be solved by this strategy. It doesn't seem to make a huge difference in reality, though. As a result of the cover, I blew several fuses that were blown due to condensation building up inside the plug. As soon as I figured out why my fuses were blowing, I gave my plug some dielectric grease. As a result of both the cover and the grease, my original issues have been Despite this, I do not recommend this to anyone since the cover ultimately failed to keep out the water. In the event that the cover would have fully addressed all of my concerns, I would have given the product four Due to the fact that it only addressed two of my three concerns, I only gave it two stars. It is true that I kept my 7 way plug pointed up when it was in my propane tank cover, so I do not think there would have been any water inside that tank.
There's no way water or dirt will get into the cap if you are intelligent enough to store it correctly. This is called a 7 pin plug cap and it fits snugly over 7 pin plugs. I have included a picture in order to show our method, but just about anything that does not turn the plug upside down will assist.
The trailer wire has been routed backwards under the camper so it can stay out of the rain for the last 10 years. Getting the connections started to become a little difficult- Many years have passed and it has become somewhat corroded. After cleaning them up, I put this thing in place. When I took this out for the first time it rained. It just slipped on, it's hard to mess it up, it just slips on. We became wet over the course of the day as we left the campsite. I pulled it off (it was tight) and discovered the length of connector completely drenched. After I poured out the liquid, we are left with nothing. The question I have is The camper probably would have needed to be rewired if I had left it on over the According to what was said There was one day of rain spent more time than I expected drying the contacts, etc. The situation got a whole lot worse as a result of it.
Buying this cover is a good way to keep water and dirt from collecting on the pins of the 7" A way plug is on my travel trailer, which is not covered but kept in storage. It was checked after the cover was installed and it had rained moderately. A large amount of water was poured into the plug. When a plug hangs from a chain, the pins are oriented downward. Due to the lack of a seal, the cover actually allowed rain to run between the sides of the plug and onto the covers, which created a little container that was perfect for collecting rainwater. From a retrospective standpoint, it would have been better if there had been no cover so that the rain would just run off. The product will not be used by me, and I will likely throw it away after In order to make it work, the plug would need to face upward, which is next to impossible for travel trailers to maintain.
Is snug enough to fit, and the lanyard is long enough to reach the base, where the cover can still easily be deployed. There is something wrong with the rubber they use, whether it is too stiff, too brittle or simply that mine was old so it couldn't simply be stretched over the base and not snap.

This is the fifth one that I bought. You should never expose your electric hookup to the elements. It is recommended that the cap be kept upright so that the cord will stay dry.
We had to wait almost 10 seconds for the loop to end. It is mentioned in the instructions not to overstretch the loop much or it might In the end, the loop broke as the loop was slid down the plug while trying to get it to fit over the The cap part does fit well, so I gave it 2 stars. So, it looks like I'm going to have to rig up my own system to retain the data. The next time I buy a vacuum cleaner I will look for a heavier duty one.
