If I run into any issues with the mirrors down the road, I will update my review. As a result, I am very happy I purchased this item. I lamented for days about which manufacturer of these mirrors to go with but I'm glad I went with the Yitamotor brand. There were several reviews that complained about the mirrors not fitting like OEM mirrors, but I'm happy to report that mine have no gaps whatsoever. Mirrors made by these manufacturers fit as well and are as strong as original OEM parts. Regarding the glass, I see no difference in quality between the mirrors from the OEMs and the mirrors from the aftermarket. Also, the functionality of the mirrors is Furthermore, I have not heard any weird wind noises coming from these mirrors as well.
The biggest piece of advice I would give to anyone buying and installing these mirrors is to take your time, make sure the gaskets are on correctly, and after tightening the nuts, let them sit for a moment before releasing. It's a fairly straightforward installation, other than that. Additionally, you can find plenty of videos on YouTube that will help.

Putting the mirror and holding it on with a c-clamp worked great for me if you are doing it by yourself like I did It was really helpful to have a clamp in order to screw The hat fits like a glove on my 2003 excursion and there is no modification necessary as other reviews suggest. There was absolutely no hassle in installing the wiring harness. A blinker and heater stayed on when I turned the ignition on. Despite other reviews stating that they would shake or be distorted, I found that my vehicle was not affected by those issues. Mirrors with these have been a huge help in the visibility department, and I like them a lot. The mirrors are way better than my stock ones, and I have not tried towing with them yet.

They are compatible with a wide range of Ford products produced over a wide range of manufacturing standards. Ford obviously did not keep the exact same tooling the entire time, but they kept it close enough that a generic product would fit. As a result, you may have a great first fit, or you may have to adjust parts of the product. In this case, I needed to adjust mine a bit for the 2004 Excursion 4WD Limited. As a result of my installation, I found the following. (1) The circular base of the four nuts that hold the bolts to the bumper did not align with how I drilled the holes in my vehicle. By simply increasing the size of the base hole slightly, it was an easy adjustment. There was no issue with the four bolts moving through the existing holes in the inner door panel. (2) I had to shorten the overly long plastic extension I had to trim a bit like others. (3) The passenger mirror tightened up perfectly, and I used a crisscross tightening pattern to ensure a great fit on both ends of the mirror. I did have a problem with the bolt that held the driver's side mirror on. Also, it failed in the opposite way of what was expected. This bolt is secured inside a plastic or ABS A paintball would probably travel at about the same speed. The bolt failed longitudinally, thus failing A metallurgical failure from an impurity in the metal of the bolt caused the bolt to break in half very cleanly (I believe it was a metallurgical failure). There are a couple of differences, too. The factory bolts are a little thicker, and the nut is 11mm. A 10mm nut is used on these. As long as it stays attached with only three bolts, I might disassemble the driver's side of the mirror to install a replacement bolt after Hurricane Sally is gone. (5) Lastly, it serves two purposes to have the yellow sections outside. It's made up of two halves the top is a turn signal and the bottom is a My bulbs needed to be changed, and I discovered something new. It is not possible to remove the amber cover with a tab or screw. A gasket seal material is lightly caulked on the outer edge of the gasket and can easily be removed with a screwdriver. The paper came off too easily, in my opinion. In order to ensure it was securely attached, I used more gasket maker after I had finished the LED bulb installation.

There's no need to hook up your truck to the wiring harness unless your truck has power mirrors. I had to hook mine up to a rocker switch and buy the factory panel switch for the mirror. A 2007 f350 6 wiring diagram was used in order to make my own wire harness since my car was not equipped with power mirrors. I installed it on a 1999 Ford F350, which I think was the 7th generation. It was easy to install, but you'll need the assistance of another person to hold the mirror.

The distortion created by these mirrors is similar to that of a fun house mirror. While driving down the road, the mirrors vibrate horribly, which makes the driver's side much worse than the passenger's side. Not in the arm / housing of the mirror, but in the glass itself is the vibration. It seems like the plastic housing is sturdy, but as you drive, the glass itself vibrates continuously. It is impossible to distinguish what you are looking at due to the distorted glass combined with the vibration. As a driver, you can spot trucks coming up on your side, but you can't tell which truck it is either Chevy, Ford, Toyota, or whatever. I wish my money back now because knowing what I know now, I would have bought.
