I liked the way the mirrors fit and looked. Due to a collision with my passenger mirror while backing out of the garage, my mirrors were replaced. The mirrors on my 1500 Limited were a significant upgrade over theses. In the past, I had the auto dimming function, and I had the power folding function. Others had complained that the lights did not work and the turn signals didn't work. To put them to work, they had to have the dealer program them. Although I cannot guarantee that these will work in your truck if it does not already have puddle lights and turn signals, in my experience they worked. Although I am not 100% sure of the heated feature, it has been too hot to test. I did have to use an angle grinder and shorten one of the studs because it ran into the door frame when I shut I didn't know, but it would be helpful if you didn't scratch your door frame. The installation was a little more complicated that usual, but it wasn't a huge deal. Dremels will also work, but they will be more time consuming. Overall, they were easy to install and are a good value given the fact that I got two chrome mirrors It cost around $750 for the uninstalled oem mirror on the passenger side from the dealer. The stock limited mirrors, however, I think are much nicer, plus they have the power folding feature as well as auto dimming. The loss of $550 isn't a big deal to me. In my next post, I will try to include a photo of the stud that needs to be shortened. Rather than putting the panel back together before closing the door, I noticed that it was too long once I shut the door. Here is my review, I hope it.

It's backwards to adjust these mirrors when they're in the vertical position as opposed to the factory ones. There has been a suggestion that LEG mode programming could fix this problem. I am not so sure. The door control actually determines whether a mirror is vertical by what it sees in the mirror? It is imperative to program the LEB and LEC to have the puddle lights and turn signals operate. It still has backward controls even after I spent $160. The Ram 1500 Tradesman I purchased used is a 2013 model. came with an extensive list of options, but the tow mirrors that came as part of the tow package were not there. Even though the cost of getting the puddle lights and turn signals at the dealer would be too much of a splurge, I decided to pull the plug on these mirrors after a lot of research.

When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was how heavy they were! Though I wasn't ready to install it, I opened the box anyway for no other reason than to see if there was a mistake. The pillows even come with soft pillowcases to protect them from being scratched in transit. Because the Styrofoam is really tight and keeps the wolves snugly tucked in, I don't think they need to add anything to it! The lights and sensors are all wired into the controller built right into the door panels and have all the wiring that goes with them. It was really easy to install to provide me with a vast viewing area. Once the brackets were installed (very worthwhile for stability), it was simply a matter of bolting these in. In addition to using AlphaOBD during installation, I also used it to set the orientation of the controls, the puddle lights, In addition to the truck I now have, I can also get other options for $49, so I feel like I am getting better service than spending over $100 at the dealer for a single visit. Thanks to the tow mirrors, my tow vehicle is now fully operational and operates smoothly. With these I towed a fifth wheel for the first time, and I was amazed at the view! My purchase was delivered by 5pm on 12/24/20 after I placed my order on 12/20/20. This product was supposed to arrive on the 30th of December. I was surprised to receive it on the 24th. I did not need to grind down the bolt as others have suggested. I almost did not buy this due to this review. In my 2018 Ram 2500, the mirrors are fitted and they do not cause any problems. However, my truck did not come with them. The main factor that influenced my purchase was the price. There was no damage to the product as it came in an excellent box. As for me, it took one and a half hours to complete, so if you know someone who can help, please ask.
