It was purchased for my trailer so that I could lock my aTVs inside at night and not have to worry about someone stealing everything in a matter of seconds. There was a problem with the lock sticking, which was extremely difficult to remove. There was some graphite lubricant I bought, but it did not work. Despite all the weather New England has to offer, the lock wasn't able to survive. Unfortunately, the lock ended up getting stuck on my trailer, and I now have broken both of the keys that came with it trying to get it The lock you chose is of low quality and I would recommend replacing it with one of higher quality.

As soon as I received this product, I tried to attach it to This is when I could tell the quality wasn't great. The key felt cheap in my hand, and I inserted the key and started the installation. I then tried to take it off a few days later, but it proved very difficult to do so. There is no point in wasting your time and money on this. I just threw it in the trash and it is simply not worth the money to send it back.

During the next 18 months, it froze up and had to be sawed. The cheapest Chinese crap you can get. Due to the fact that it was sold by Reese, I thought the price might be better. That's not the case! Can you recommend a place where I can find a quality lock made in the United States? Amazon does not appear to have one.

I think it's the right size. It doesn't exactly fit, but it is close. When I bought another one, it was too short. I don't understand why they wouldn't do a test to ensure it fits the As you can see, this one is a little tight, but goes in. I imagine the tough part would be cutting it out. A better lock than a regular one.

Buying this will prevent potential thieves from taking my stuff. Even knowing that nobody was going to stop someone determined to steal my trailer, I still believed it would not work. Due to losing my trailer key, I was unable to use my trailer. After trying several different tools, I ended up using my Dremel tool to cut off the lock.
