Questions & Answers
What a fantastic query! It doesn't appear that our UCS-based system is up to the task. The 88A will work on that model, but the UCS- 79A is an excellent choice. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Yes, one of the best features of our UCS locks is that the cylinders can be easily removed and replaced. At your leisure, use our UCS pinning kit to secure them. All of our UCS locks currently use a P0 keyway, which is the same as an AM3, and do not accept Schlage keys. We hope this information is useful. If you have any additional questions, please contact us.
Yes, the retaining screw for the UCS cylinder is included with all of our "less cylinder" options. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
I watched the installation video for the 2516 and believe that your lock will cause the Paclock to malfunction. If I were you, and I needed more security, I'd order the Paclock and return it if it didn't work. It appears to me that your 2516 is all you require.

This was purchased in conjunction with the UCS- 80A for use with my Jayco travel trailer, which is only a month old. My trailer's coupler appears to be the same as the coupler shown in some of their videos. When the coupler isn't latched to the ball, it's a very tight fit, but it works. Because the coupler is attached to the ball, the plate on which the lock is mounted deflects just enough that the lock pin no longer seats all the way into the far side of the lock. Support's solution was to either drill a larger hole in the new trailer or sand the lock down. They demand a fee of between $40 and $50. 50% restocking fee if cosmetic damage occurs (which as you can see, 2 trial installations without the coupler latched to the ball occurs cosmetic damage occurs as you can see occurs I filed down the corners where you can see it rubs and am now able to get the lock closed when latched to the ball without paying a 50% restocking fee because I didn' I doubt this will compromise the lock's integrity, and if all it takes is 10 seconds with a file, the lock isn't worth much in the first place. br>br>I would have given this 5 stars if it had fit without modification. I would have given it four stars if the customer service had been better, even though I had to make changes.
I was looking for a trailer hitch lock and was dissatisfied with what I found. I also consulted the "lock picking lawyer" on YouTube, who, while he didn't have a review on this specific model, did have good things to say about the company. They appear to have made some changes to the lock body, including the installation of steel rods to help prevent cutting. I'm a firm believer in hidden shackle stylebr>locks, and I'm optimistic that this will deter thiefs and crack heads.
a trailer with a matching setup I needed a key and couldn't find it. PACLOCK came through for me when I needed a trailer that matched my setup. This combination is more secure and well-made than many of the "pre-packaged" trailering lock packages. I used the PACKLOCK puck lock in conjunction with the Proven Industries coupler "safe. " " To line up for the PACLOCK, I had to drill out some of the Proven Industries holes. This is a fantastic combination after that. br>br>Because the PACLOCK coupler lock is a little more difficult to use, I'm taking one star off for "fit. " "To their credit, they advise you to double-check the dimensions to ensure that they will fit your coupler, which I knew would be a challenge. I was able to get the coupler lock to work, but it required a slight lift of the latch (as shown in the photo). One star deducted because this is a very common trailer coupler and the lock housing should be machined to fit. br>br>The PACLOCK receiver lock has exceeded my expectations. It's extremely well-made. br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased with this pairing. While it is pricey, I appreciate the security of knowing that all of my trailer's locks are keyed alike and that my trailer will be safe (or as safe as it can be) while it is being stored.
This lock is a work of art; I've never spent so much on a lock before, but it was well worth the investment. On the trailer, it's a little tight, but it fits. The quality of this lock, as well as the other one I bought, far surpassed my expectations. In the future, I will order more locks from this company.
Definitely a high-quality coupler lock; I expect it to last for many years and to withstand the elements. It's compatible with other paclocks that are keyed the same way. br>Pay attention to what size lock your trailer requires; I didn't realize there were different sizes of this lock until after I ordered; fortunately, it just barely fits.
However, it is compatible with a variety of different locks. This lock is one of my favorites. This is used in conjunction with a Trimax lock to secure the safety chains as well. Paclock is the best in terms of quality. Yes, you will pay a higher price, but you will receive what you pay for. br>br>If your trailer is truly desired, it will be obtained. A thief, on the other hand, will use a series of Paclocks to seek out easier targets. br>br>The only issue I have with this lock is that I have to pull the cylinder open with both hands. To make things easier, you can probably use a lubricant.
The Paclock Keyed Alike series is one of my favorites. I bought a few locks to use with a single key to secure everything on my truck and trailers, and I'm glad I did. The quality and construction are excellent, and the LockPickingLawyer and Bosnian Bill have both tested the pick resistance and lock construction. I no longer have to be concerned about locking up my hardware because it will be there when I return.
This is my second paclock purchase; both are of excellent quality and appear to provide significantly more security than the typical locks found in auto stores. I'm very pleased with these and will purchase more in the future. This lock fits on our travel trailer with the standard 2 5/16 ball; however, I also have the proven industries Puck lock, which fits on as well.
