This is the third one I purchased. It appears to be solid for its size. Although it's hard to lock and unlock, it's not difficult by any means. Despite my best efforts, the key will not turn in the lock and sticks in the lock. You should always double check your measurements as this is 6" total which may block the holes for your chains, or whatever hitch you are using.
It is a good lock and I am confident that it will work just fine. It is easy to lock/unlock, but there are a few steps to figure out.
I would have given it five stars if it was. My son's 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5 did not fit the other one. The 2020 F150 one works fine for me it does not fit his 2020 F150. We are so close to being able to lock it that we are just a hair short. I kept them because the money was good and the quality was good as well.
The lock is good. The lock fits my Mercedes GLE 2021 well, but it's a little tricky The product is highly recommended and I would buy it I am not going to lock it and unlock it, so dealing with the locking isn't a major issue.
Easy to use and sturdy. As far as the locking mechanism is concerned, I have not encountered any problems. With the rubber rings that come with it, it can be adjusted to fit various hitch widths and reduce noise.

It is difficult to understand how anybody could have thought this would work with a 2" receiver, but it simply won't work. This is due to not enough stem sticking out at the opposite end for the lock to attach to.

It was possible to remove a couple of rubber washers to get my hitch working. I find that this works really well and is so easy to adjust.
