Questions & Answers
Yes. The standard hitch lock is simply too short to fit properly and cannot be secured. The 5/8" version of this pin, on the other hand, is ideal.
The Kohree trailer hitch lock is compatible with Class III, IV, and V receivers and can support up to 17,000 pounds of weight.
It has no effect or causes any problems in terms of usage; it simply ensures that the lock end does not wobble after installation.
You'd have to contact the manufacturer for more information. You won't be able to, in my opinion.

It's a miracle I'm still alive, because this was a total disaster. I'm so fortunate that I didn't die or have a bad outcome. I rolled into my storage unit to unhook after a four-hour journey with my trailer. I knelt to unlock my lock pin as I walked through the steps. The lock pin on the key side, to my surprise, was missing. When I look at the other side, I see that the lock pin is still in place. I simply took it out after that. The lock pin broke, much to my surprise. I've got two and a half in the receiver. This plan has flaws. One of the safety pin holes on the lock pin broke, which is a common failure point in this design. This design type will never be used again by me. Having multiple safety pin holes, one of which is located within the receiver.
Take a look at some of the other reviews for more information. While driving at 40 mph with a 10,000-pound trailer, I had one snap. The use of safety chains saved my life and the lives of those around me, but it could have been a complete disaster.
Everything is in order. Although I wish they'd make a lock that matches both my hitch and trailer pin! This lock, like all locks, will only deter the average criminal, but I doubt the cast of Oceans 11 will be interested in my hitch.
Rubber seal rings are included to keep it from vibrating. Overall, the lock appears to be in good condition, with a nice dust cap to keep dirt out.
I drive Ford Super Duty trucks with hitch receivers that are nested and require a 3 inch pin. I value theft protection and the ability to operate in a marine environment, and I've struggled to find a suitable high-tech solution. end hitch pin that is suitable for our requirements When I got the Kohree 5/8" locking pin, I finally found a pin that worked. It has a tight-fitting, large-diameter, hardened steel pin system with large-diameter end shoulders that effectively prevent the pin from being sawed or bolted. I'm confident that the cylinder lock will not be picked easily. and remained corrosion-free and contaminant-free under the in-built rubber cap Despite multiple submersions in salt water on a regular basis. I've had no problems with the hitches in the past eight months; they're still running smoothly and show no signs of corrosion. The striking black finish has faded noticeably with use, which is the only criticism I have for the hitch pin at this time. Other hitch pins have been known to last less than a year when used in a marine environment, but we expect the Kohree pin to last much longer.
Military grade. It's without a doubt the best I've ever owned.
I was hesitant to try again after losing a lock on a previous purchase that wasn't made through Amazon. With the safety pin installed, this locking system performs admirably. The pin cannot come loose in any way. It comes highly recommended.
The lock set's features appealed to me at first. There's no point in trying to persuade you. The pin, not the lock, broke after 5000 miles of towing a 4500-pound travel trailer. We were fortunate enough to be able to safely stop and exit the highway. I averaged the responses after reading the reviews. My recommendation is as follows: Select a different option.
