That is, without a doubt, an intriguing description. I interpreted the description to mean that your keys are unique to the lock you purchased, but you have an extra key in case you need to move your trailer. I hope this was helpful and that I didn't add to your confusion.
It simply means that the keys aren't your typical keys, making them more difficult to pick. The term "keyed alike" simply refers to the fact that it comes with two keys, one primary and one backup.
Yes. I have a lube plate that works really well. This lock is fantastic.
This is designed to fit over a 5th wheel's pin. A gooseneck has a hole in the middle that would be incompatible with this.

You get a lot of bang for your buck. Very simple to usebr>Fits perfectly on my 53' dry vanbr>And now you can bobtail with peace of mind knowing your trailer is secure. They're a lot better than the ones you can buy at truck stops. Would suggest.
I can't comment on the anti-theft capability because I haven't had any experience with it. It appears to be well constructed, fits as expected, and locking and unlocking are simple. As with most anti-theft devices, it acts as a deterrent, causing thieves to seek out an easier target; however, a well-prepared thief will undoubtedly be able to open any king pin lock.
It is simple to use. This is going to be a messy situation if you grease your king pin. But that isn't the lock's fault. To store it, keep it in a shopping bag. I'm not sure how strong this is, but I recently found myself in a situation where I could simplify my day by parking my dump trailer near a hotel and bobtailing to it. This lock was on my trailer, and the three trailers next to it didn't have locks, so it was probably strong enough for me. As a result, I was able to sleep better. It's a good thing I had it with me.
I really liked how simple it was to open the box, install the lock, and lock it with just one more move and only a few instructions! Great product, well-made and simple to operate. It's fantastic to have peace of mind about my fifth wheel home.
The lock isn't the strongest, but it's good enough to keep honest thieves at bay. I also like the yellow color, as well as the yellow tag that hangs down to remind you that the lock is still attached to the pin, so you don't try to hook up while it's still attached.
With a crow bar or something similar, I'm not sure how difficult it would be to break this lock open. It's probably not that difficult, and it serves as a good deterrent, as well as reassuring me that I'm doing everything I can to keep my 5th wheel trailer secure. I believe that a determined thief could get away with it relatively easily. But, hey, I haven't attempted to remove it myself, so I can't say for sure.
While any lock can be broken by a determined and well-equipped thief, I believe that this king pin lock is well-made, strong, and an important part of our security strategy.
