If you have existing brake lights, then yes, it can be hardwired into them

The wires connected to the brake lights should be located, the plug from the Keyecu should be cut, and the new plug should be spliced into the existing wires.

This product failed to live up to expectations. You should not waste your money. Instead, you should buy I cannot get the Keyecu to work When the right blinker is turned on, it blinks.

This hitch cover is top notch

The hitch cover is a good value for the money, this is my second purchase, fit very well, lights are great, and overall very good. I have used a number of them. My hitch cover for my trucks is great, but those reviews I don't agree with, they're doing it wrong, this is a great hitch cover. I just might order another because I broke my first one backing up in an area where there is much traffic.
