Unfortunately, there are a few downsides. After just a few weeks of winter weather with slush on the roads, the polished letters rusted and turned ugly. The letters haven't come out polished after trying to polish them. It should have been installed in spring instead. I am disappointed in myself.
Christmas was a good time to purchase this item for my husband. That's why he loves it so much. The heavy duty and elegant design makes it stand out. In order to prevent it from being stolen, we bought a lock for it. My 4Runner now stands out from every other 4Runner on the road.
