It was sturdy, with a bright red handle that was easy to locate. However, they stuck a sticker right on the shaft that doesn't have an easy/clean removal adhesive, so it clogs up and makes a mess when you use it. Adhesive remover and 15 minutes of annoyance would have been required to remove the sticker prior to use. At the very end, there is a cotter pin hole. While each application is unique, the standard holes on my tractor necessitated drilling a new hole hole further up the shaft to ensure a good fit. I'd be willing to pay more for a product that came with several holes already punched in it. drilled.
If you need the full 4" shaft length, you'll have to remove the plastic handle coating from the shaft. I had to grind down a small "bead" around the shaft under the plastic coating on one of them to get it through the hitch pin hole. Once you've trimmed, ground, and painted the full 4" usable shaft length, they work great and are simple to insert and remove.
It really works. It's a breeze to use the handle. Just make sure it'll fit between the hitch and the trailer. Because I have enough room, it works perfectly. It was simple to locate and pull. I own several tractors as well as a large number of attachments. I try to keep each attachment with its own set of pins so I don't have to go searching for them; this pin works well, and I have something similar for bottom link pins as well. I would strongly suggest them.
