A standard receiver hitch will fit.
I'm 74 years old and the pin is causing me problems. Take a large screw driver and use it as a private to remove the pin. Put it in a vice and try to bend the pin open once you've gotten it out. Return to the vendor and ask for their advice first.
You should be able to use it if you have a category 2 hitch.
Designed to fit a 2" receiver

I used to have a lockable trailer hitch pin, but I misplaced my keys and had to remove it. I decided that I'm not trustworthy with keys and that I don't need to lock my trailer hitch to my truck in the first place - Who will be the first to steal a trailer ball? what's the point of it all? br>br>I've been using this for about a year and haven't had any issues. There hasn't been any weird rust or anything, and the pin that holds the pin in the receiver is still tight and doesn't cause me to be concerned that it will fall out.
I bought the "Curt" hitch because it was rust-free. pin 1st. . In only two weeks, it had rusted! As a result, I placed an order for this "Reese" trailer hitch. the rubber-coated ends of the pin It's been on my SUV for about six months now. There is no rust on it!! "REESE" is a far superior word.
For a 2 1/2 receiver, this is a little short. The plastic grip simply slips off, making pin removal a chore at times. On a standard 2" hitch, I believe it would work fine.
The pin itself is excellent (and the rubberized coating adds a nice touch). The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that the "cotter pin" is not as strong as others. It is very easy to extract cotter pins with this tool. I strongly suggest it.
br>br>This is the easiest pin I've ever used. The clip-on pin is extremely durable. It's simple to operate, well-made, and looks fantastic on my truck. I don; I'm not sure how much more I can say on the subject. It works, it's durable, and it's simple to secure.
There's not much to say about it because it's a hitch pin. The plastic coating appears to be quite thick, so I expect it to last a long time before degrading. It looks good and works well with my hitch. There's no need to worry about it failing anytime soon.
The construction is simple, but it appears to be very effective. Although I've only used it a few times, it appears to be very sturdy.
The pin connects much more easily than most standard hitch pins. It's easier on the hands thanks to the rubber tips. Reese's quality is unrivaled!.
