I'm not sure, but China is most likely. I bought a dozen on the internet, but I'm out of packaging. On the item, it doesn't say. In any case, a fantastic item.
Selected User Reviews For Pin Wiz Towing Trailer Hitch Pin and Clips with Easy Pull Tab
The Pin Wiz Trailer Hitch Clip was purchased for use with a utility trailer that has a removable rear ramp that is held in place by L pins through two hinges on the bottom of the ramp. Because I remove the tailgate to use ramps to load my ATV on the trailer, I replaced the cotter pins with spring clips. This reduces the weight and wind resistance when towing the trailer. These hitch clips come in handy when you need to get to a hard-to-reach location and provide a secure grip for both removal and installation. They appear to be well made, and although they are a little pricey for a modified spring clip, I was willing to pay for them because of their ease of use. I wouldn't use them on a hitch pin because it would be far too tempting and easy to remove one of these from a standard hitch. A locking hitchpin is what I use.
This is such a simple idea and product, but the difference they make is incredible! I used these instead of our old clips, which were a pain to remove and reattach. They are even more effective than I had anticipated. I gave them to my wife to try, and she said they were very simple to do - She was adamant about not touching the old ones. We got a new RV yesterday, and the salesman at the dealership was helping me swap out my hitch and other accessories, and he was just as surprised and excited as I was. I advised him to keep them on hand in his shop. He said he'd look them up right away on the internet and kept saying how brilliant the idea was.
Don't put your faith in the listing. 5 pc is written on the label. Scroll down to the packaging, where it says "number of items: 5" once more. There is only one of each. However- It's a nice hitch pin and well worth the money; I'm not sure how they could afford to sell five for that price, so getting just one was a bit of a shock. However, I'm going to order another. I'll need two of these to lock down my son's folding wheelchair. These are a good match. They are simple to put on and take off because of the tab. For this application, it would be ideal as a locking swage cable replacement.
This is what I'm going to use for my hitch. Also, a pin location on a front mower that was difficult to reach with a standard pin. So far, I've purchased four, and we'll see how long the rubber lasts. So far, so good. I would buy it again.
A 6000-pound travel trailer is being towed by me. This was supposed to replace a much more potent pain. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable putting in such a light-weight material. a weighted pin.
These trailer hitch clips are fantastic. It's a lot easier to use, and I don't have to carry around a pair of pliers to do it. The clip is easily removed with a quick pull on the tab. I think the pull tab should be red so that it's easy to find if you drop it.
What a brilliant concept. Because they can't be removed with just your fingers, the clips on my RV's weight distribution system are rusting. I tried using a rag and pliers, but I couldn't get a good grip on the clip; with these, the problem is solved. Thank you.
We're ecstatic to have them! They have a good fit and are easy to work with. They were purchased in order to secure the hitch bars. This is a game changer!.
