Questions & Answers
In many ways, hitches are pretty standard, regardless of the vehicle brand to which they're attached. I'd quickly compare hitch classes (class III to class III, etc.) and consider the hitch ball mount; if you have a class IV hitch, it will be similar to other class IV hitches, for example. It's made of square tubing or, in the case of very heavy-duty mounts, solid steel. Is it a certain size? Within classes, these mounts and the square receiver hole they fit are fairly standard, regardless of vehicle brand; take a few quick measurements and look up other specifications online, and I believe you'll find the answers to your questions. I hope you find this information useful.
Yes. You have the option of ordering standard or long. They come in a two-piece set.
Do you have any doubts? If the others were too short, these should suffice.
It makes no difference what kind of vehicle you have; the hitch size, 2 or 2 1/2", is the only thing that matters.
Selected User Reviews For HitchSafe HS7021T Nickel Cadmium Hitch Bolt for Toyota Tacoma - Pair
Yes, they work, but it's a pity that HitchSafe forces Tacoma/Tundra owners to purchase these longer bolts rather than offering them as an option when they purchased their HitchSafe. HitchSafe is making a quick buck (around $10) by not including the foam washers with the extra, longer bolts that we Tacoma/Tundra owners must purchase. I mean, really, HitchSafe?.
It's ridiculous that you have to pay extra for longer bolts. I believe that the buyer should have the option of selecting "for Toyota" or "not for Toyota," but it works, so I can't complain. Second, more advertising regarding the need for these extra-long Toyota pins is required.
It was a perfect match. They were installed on a 2016 Toyota Tundra's hitch and allowed the hitch safe to be mounted securely. I wish I had read the instructions more carefully when I purchased the safe because I would have realized right away that these were required. If you own a Toyota vehicle with the larger hitch receivers, this is a must-have accessory.
Wish they had been more explicit about the fact that these bad boys were required to fit my Tacoma, but they were readily available and arrived quickly. They are in perfect working order.
It's amazing how nice they look and how well they're made. I can't believe how strong they are.
You only need them for the Tacoma, which will undoubtedly be profitable for the company, but you already know what I'm talking about. It's necessary for the company to make money, and the safe is worth it in the end.
Ideal for use on a two-person boat. Receiver with a 5 inch diameter and a reducer.
What am I supposed to say? These are a must-have for anyone who owns a Tacoma. They should really come with the safe or as an option, so we have to pay $10 more than any other truck owner because we have the most sold truck in the United States. That is, I suppose, life.
