With a spacer, it will fit 2" to 2 1/4" and 1 7/8"

Is the black anodizing durable enough to withstand repeated scraping from chain S-hooks? hooks? Or do you get to a point where you can see the silver?

The S- The black may be wore off by hooks. Most of it has been washed away by the constant west Texas winds and sand.

Overpriced and poorly engineered

The device is connected to the device from the front (vehicle side) according to the instructions and pictures. Whenever we lowered or raised the trailer, this method interfered with our trailer handle. The solution was to reverse it to the back. The two pieces don't seem to fit together well in our photo. Plus, there was almost a 1/2" gap when installed on our standard trailer. I wouldn't feel as if I had been ripped off if this was half the price listed. It cannot be returned because I have used it, but I would not purchase it again.

This is an excellent item! Engineered, shipped quickly, and was a perfect fit. It's great for keeping the chains and electrical connectors organized and out of the dirt, and it even came with a nice molded cap for the seven-pin connector! a trailer connector with two ways Awesome! 😊👍.

LITTLE DETAILS LIKE THIS HELP TO BRING THE ENTIRE PACKAGE TOGETHER. I HAVE A PLACE FOR THE CHAINS AND CORD TO BE HANGED. COMPLETELY COMPLETES ANOTHER PART OF THE RV PACKAGE. WHILE IT MAY APPEAR TO BE SMALL AND TRIVIAL, IT IS A GREAT LITTLE ADDITION TO KEEP THINGS ORGANIZED.

The safety chains and wiring harness are held in place by a sturdy hangar. For a piece of metal, it's a little pricey, but it serves a very useful purpose.
