All of CURT's receiver hitches and other accessories are made in the United States. However, I am unsure of the exact location of the item's manufacture.
I'd have to say yes, because I bought it to go with a 2" hitch cover, and it fit perfectly. CURT Manufacturing 22180 2 inch CURT Manufacturing 22180 2 inch CURT Manufacturing 22180 2 inch Tube Cover in Black Plastic. I hope this information is useful.
From the start of the bend to the center of the safety pin hole, it's only about 3 3/8 inches.
It should definitely be a 5/8" pin if the hitch is 2". Any attachment that simply goes into the receiver will work with this pin.

It appears to be of good quality, but due to the direction in which the hole was drilled, I always have trouble getting the pin to go into it. I wish it had been drilled in the opposite direction by 90 degrees. I'm not sure if they just drilled the hole at random or if it's just my case, but I always have trouble getting the pin in because of the angle. It could just be my car, and it might not be an issue with other cars, but I wanted to make sure others were aware.
If you have any further questions, please leave a comment and I will either take photos or provide additional information. br>br>When we went camping, I decided to put together an "RV emergency repair kit. " As a backup, I included this in the kit. This set has no flaws in my opinion. br>br> It's tough, and the coating is just thick enough to keep everything on the hitch in place. br>br>I bought both sizes so that I could assist any fellow campers or travelers who needed or used the smaller sizes while we were on the road. br>br>I'm glad I bought it for my emergency kit. br>They fit into one of the tool kit's slots perfectly. br>In the photo, I circled them.
Because there is only one hole in which to install the clip, it is extremely difficult to install and remove. The hole is in such a tight space that turning it to align the clip is nearly impossible. Other pins I've made use of a slot to push the clip through, so it doesn't matter which way the pin is oriented. The pin and clip have a vinyl finish that I like.
This pin is far superior to my previous rusted pin, which could not withstand the heat. You'll be hitching in serious style with the 21510, as it's a brand new item with no used junk from the backyard. You could cast Luke Perry from Beverly Hills 90210 in a new series called La Rumorosa 21510, in which everyone drives around with the CURT hitch pin. merely stating the obvious.
The retaining pin is a little stiff and hard to push through. Also, instead of only having one hole, the pin should have two, allowing the owner to choose which hole is most convenient. But it's only a pin, right? I don't think the manufacturer gave it much thought.
I'm not familiar with trailer hitches, but this hitch pin appears to be a good choice. It's well-machined, smooth, and straight, and it fits perfectly in the receiver of my 2015 4Runner. The pin and clip have a nice plastic coating that I like. It has a nice gripping surface. I bought two of them, and the booth is fantastic.
The grip is excellent. Haul with assurance. Inverted as a rise to connect a 2013 Highlander to a boat trailer, it's paired with a Curt 45090 6". On the road, it gives me complete trust. Both pieces have a rubberized coating that improves grip. The hitch pin is sturdy, and the clip is secure without the need for tools to install or remove it. The sized of the finger hole is ideal. For a couple of bucks, you can't ask for much more. It's Curt, and it's effective. I'd definitely order another, but I don't think I'll be needing one for a long time.
