Regardless of which way you flip it, you can use it. I'm not sure that it would allow the full 14k to wait in the upside-down position, though. The manufacture of that product would be responsible for that.

It looks like the set comes as a whole. In the course of my research, I did not find any information about the receiver alone.

This is a smooth and substantial piece of work. In order to replace our aging 2008 F350 FX4x4, we have purchased a 2019 F250 A class 4 hitch was installed on the new truck, while a class 3 hitch was used on the 08 It always seemed a little high for the 3 ball hitch of the 08 For the trailers we pull (upward angle), but acceptable/usable, but that same 3 ball in the 2019 was way up, literally I could drag the butt end of a 16' car trailer on the road so I needed a class 4-H trailer. This drop hitch decision was made in favor of a 6" drop over an Up to the notch next to the lowest, and really I could have gone all the way back down to the lowest, but there is something that bothers me about going to the end of anything, so what I have is angled upward, nevertheless, but I still find it satisfactory. This Weigh Safe LTB6-2000 weight scale is very satisfactory to me With a 5, 6" Drop 180 Hitch and two additional pins. An aluminum trailer hitch with a 5" shaft and an adjustable shackle is included, along with the trailer. It is known as a ball mount. In addition to this, they use a round tubular key for the lock, which works much better I think than a regular key, and don't forget the locking pin for the receiver (which is not included) We had no trouble using it Lock for receivers with a 5/8" diameter Trimax T5Black.
My device was defective out of the box. In the case of the hitch housing, the locking pin would not lock in. Vibrations would be heard coming from the housing while it was being used. The situation is very dangerous. It emerged that my home was defective after several calls, text messages, and videos. They sent a new lock and explained the problem to me. An item that was not defective from the get-go. After contacting them again, I went through the process once Despite my best efforts, they continued to run me ragged I kept telling her to forget it, but she just ignored me. The process took too much time and I had no idea where to go.
Why did I give it a 4 when it was so expensive, but it was well built and looked really nice, so why was it so expensive? Let me tell you about my life. When I was choosing a drop hitch, I was torn between an 8" drop and a 6". At the end I decided to buy the 8" drop and when I was installing it, I realized I could get by with a 6". And you know what else? Since the lower ball (the one on the bottom, upside down) hangs down, the clearance from the ground is exactly the same for a 6" or 8" drop hitch (check out the photo and imagine the call being at the bottom of the column, and you see what I mean). Typically, the ball is 2" below the vertical shaft of the drop hitch when the drop hitch is set to the lowest point on the 6" To sum it up if you want to buy the 6" drop, buy the 8" drop instead This gives you the same clearance as well as the chance to adjust it by 2 more inches if needed. Only by purchasing a Weigh Safe hitch with the tongue weight indicator can you get a 6" drop hitch with maximum clearance. There are two separate hitch balls on that one. However, I wasn't interested in or in need of the weight indicator, since that unit costs a lot more money. It is possible to buy a single ball unit, but then add that to the price and you're ready to buy the tongue weight indicator. As far as I can tell, this is why it works this way because Marketing Geeks figured out how it works.
With my 180, I have been towing a variety of trailers since I acquired it three months ago. A bumper pull trailer must have these two components if it is to be towed at 70 mph without sway and without leaving behind scrape marks. In my experience, the ball comes in 4 sizes, and I was able to adjust the ball up or down without using any tools. On occasion, the unused ball weighs quite a bit and drags You may want to take into consideration. A drop of 8 inches can have a drop of 10 inches on the unused ball When pulling a 10K-pound trailer, you need to limit your ground clearance. There is a 25" to 3" section of the drop that is When your twin ball is damaged, you can repair it yourself for cheaper than purchasing a new one. I really like this product because it is very strong, quiet (it doesn't rattle), and adjustable height! It doesn't matter what tongue height you pull or what ball size you want. If you do not want to worry about safety, then you should purchase a wide-tongue trailer. Even though I wouldn't do it myself, you can tether the chain to the vehicle and pull the vehicle out of a stuck position.
Although I still love my hitch, I don't want to give it up. The ring is massive and it still looks good - That thing has already paid for itself and it saved my truck. I'm a convinced idiot now! I get compliments all the time about this thing - check the video. It just remains to be seen how long.
After 2 months, I've noticed that the ball has begun to rust.
I just received my hitch the other day. Greetings were on time, the package was well-packaged and the product Despite being heavy, it does not feel A pin that holds the balls in is the only thing that was bothering me. To ensure that it is fully engaged, the instructions state to make sure it is There was a wiggle between two inches of metal on mine, but the ball fit flush with the metal surrounding It is normal for it to be fully engaged.
The event is set to take place. It is amazing how cool this hitch is. The unit has been used twice so far with a Ford 250 and heavy lawn equipment. It has performed well. My children and I will be tied down by this hitch forever.
