5/8 " is what I think it is. This is considered standard for the size of that
In order to have a longer hitch, you probably need a model with a lighter load.
The size can be adjusted to fit
For example, a receiver with a 1 1/4" depth could be capable of towing 2000# (Class I) or 3500# (Class II). Considering you are dealing with a 1 1/4" receiver, you might want to check the towing capacity of the vehicle you're using. In general, if you look at mid-range or high-end You will find that SUVs and pickups from this size are only rated at 5000 pounds It is unheard of for a reputable seller to sell a 1 1/4" hitch for anything more than the capacity it is rated for.

This system consists of a decent stainless trailer ball rated for 10,000 pounds that I attach to my F150 that is rated for just north of 12,000 pounds. The stainless trailer ball clearly serves as the weak link in the chain. Steel will handle the bending moment much better at the hitch connection and at the ball mount location, so it's less likely to bend as I have seen less rigid mounts do. In addition to this, forging allows for the use of stiffer steel without the stress concentrators that result from welding. You will notice that these hitches look a lot nicer than other ones. I just finished pulling an 8000lb load through a lot of rain, ice, and salt for a few days. It's powder coated to help minimize the rust. I walked a lot on the road. Car was on a trailer being towed by a truck. Since the trailer required the car to be held down from the front, and it was a front wheel drive car, this added a lot of As you can see, the hitch mount received a lot of use. After removing the hitch mount from my truck, I found it to be quite messy. Having brushed it off and wiped it off, it now looks like There is not a speck of rust on it which I would have expected to see in a less expensive product. This is one that will last a lifetime, so if you spend a few extra bucks on it, you won't notice it in the end. A second thing is that I ordered a stainless hitch pin that didn't arrive on time, so I had to use a garden variety hitch pin that had a thin coating of some kind, perhaps galvanizing. Rusting was most noticeable in the areas that were stressed the most. I know you are a small company, but you are building a very nice product. One last thing, I ordered the mounting bracket, the trailer ball, and the clock movement from Amazon at about the same time. Amazon jammed them all into As soon as I saw that on the shipping notice, my immediate reaction was to believe that the clock movement would be Amazon is credited with pulling it off, however. I am very pleased with how you packed it. Everything made it through OK. Bravo,.
The ball mount arrived two days later than promised, so I had to return it since I needed it to transport my Toyota Highlander on a car carrier to Texas on Saturday. It is easy to see that this would have easily met my Tundra tow package's 9800 pound rating. As a result, I returned the ball mount because it did not arrive in time. In an emergency, I purchased a 7500-watt power supply We bought this ball mount from a local store that weighs about 10 pounds. It would have been so much better if this one had been used. The buyer of my Tundra in Texas bought it from me. My purchase of this ball mount leads me to think that I should buy a new truck so I have an excuse to get this mounting mechanism. That mount is a work of art and I cannot praise it enough. For buyers looking for a ball mount they can rely on, it certainly appears to be a good value. I give this book 5 stars.
All in all, it's a solid and heavy item. Rather than grinding parallel to the ground surface, I'll see how it goes.

Once again, cheap junk from a place that does nothing but make.
The first time I received the item, I thought it was the wrong one. This finish isn't the matte powder coat that is shown. It is instead a gloss paint job of questionable quality, reminiscent of an amateur spray job applied Having looked at the included paperwork and sticker on my product, it is obvious that I received the correct In the end, it's up to time.
It is my second time doing this. In the past, I've used this to tow an enclosed car hauler 14k pounds. A car hauler that can carry eight thousand vehicles. The load limit is shown on a small placard on the front of the mount, which I like. I have thrown it around my toolbox for a couple of months and it has yet to show signs of damage. From looking at the way they are made, it seems like they could not be damaged at all. As of now, I've been using mine for about two months, and I wish I had these when I was first getting What I could find locally was $15 more expensive than what I was looking for. There is no reason not to take advantage of Prime free two-day shipping on something that is essentially a 15 pound chunk of steel, get one now you won't.
The photo provided by the seller is nothing like the actual product. Decals and stickers for Curt are not available. On it, there is only a small sticker inscribed with This product is manufactured in China I tried the fit with my hitch, and figured that it had almost an eighth of a turn in it on both This is the first time I've ever had one.
There is no doubt that this is the best trailer ball mount ever made. Honestly, the only issue we have had with this is that very few standard balls have pins over 1 inch in diameter. By purchasing a piece of pipe that was 1 inch inside and fit perfectly inside the hole of the mount, we solved that problem without much difficulty. It would be highly recommended to anyone pulling a car trailer, hay trailer or any other similar vehicle.
