There are 12 pin holes and 12 ball holes in each hole. About 6 inches farther apart than the standard hitch gap, these two points are about 5 inches apart.
The mount is probably about 4 inches longer than a standard mount, but I do not have it in front of me right now. My Ranch Polaris Ranger is equipped with this. built a 2" receiver for it, and this allows me to hookup trailers from a bit further away from where the bed is (thus not having to reach under as far for hookups). It has also worked well for me when I am pulling trailers with slightly shorter tongues so I can get a little more range An individual could drill an additional hole, allowing for both a close adjustment and a long adjustment if they wished. I hope this is helpful.
As long as CURT (check their website) says it can handle 7500/750, it should be fine.
Although I don't know what a standard ball mount measures, I bought this in an attempt to make sure my tailgate wouldn't catch on the jack post of my horse trailer. The extra length lets me open the tail gate fully to fully access The hitch I use is probably 6 inches longer than the other hitch I have.

I'm very pleased with the quality of CURT. Because I had a 10ft trailer that would not allow me to lower the tailgate, I needed to extend my hitch. This extension worked perfectly. You could extend it about 7 inches further than a normal hitch before. I bought this instead of an extension because I could get it for less money. This was more appealing since I heard the other one was not very strong. It was a good decision.
I have mounted the spare wheel on a rear gate on my Jeep Liberty. There is not usually a problem with this. It's important, however, that the hitch on my trailer is high enough. My typical drop hitch won't allow me to use the tongue jack since the wheel is hitched to It is important that the wheel clears the ground by at least an inch so that you can swing the jack up into its travel position and swing it back down to unhitch. For the ball to be caught in this position, the ball receiver had to be raised instead of the dropping position, thank you. The Jeep still stands tall despite its high position. If you flip the ball receiver over, it would be right under the spare tire and you wouldn't be able to operate the tongue latch. Since the extra long ball receiver stretches the ball far enough to clear the spare tire, the latch now clears. As you can see in the photos, the latch now clears the spare tire. Thank you. This is just what I need.
A 12-inch mount can be mounted atop the mount This trailer has a 1/4" length and a 2" drop or 3/4" rise. The tongue weight is 750 pounds and the gross trailer weight is 7,500 pounds. Since normal hitch extenders drastically reduce the towing capacity of a hitch mount, I chose this mount as the best towing option. I have successfully tow my teardrop trailer through the BLM land north of Joshua Tree with it when I have a Subaru Forester. Although there were rocky areas and dips, the mount was still fast and easy to use.
In order for my spare tire on my Jeep to clear the ball, I purchased a little bit of extra distance. I am able to operate the latch on the trailer by getting just enough ball out. It fits just a little smaller than the previous hitch, and when the trailer is unloaded, it allows a little bit of movement that can make a noise on rough roads. There is a bracket aftermarket that could be installed to prevent this, but I do not mind it too much. As of yet.
In my case, this product gave me the best results. Without the use of extra pins, this is equivalent to an extension of 7". Strong as a lion. The component works well with the rest of the system. My purchase and installation took quite a while I spent weeks searching for this company and this hitch before I found this one. There were some of them that had such bad dimensions tolerances. I liked this a lot. It was cheap and pretty. The most important thing to me is happiness.
As the name implies, this unit can be used to either raise or lower the hitch ball in relation to a As a result, mine was lost in shipment and I had to buy a new The product still works for the purpose I need it for and I would buy it again if the need comes up.
I was very happy with the outcome. Using our "standard" mount, our minivan's door just barely cleared the entire length of the camping trailer under ideal conditions. In the case of uneven ground or a camper that isn't perfectly level, the ball will hit it. By adding three inches to the clearance, the clearance is made easy.
As far as I can tell, this is a very well-made quality product. Paint that is thick and thick. They should be eternal. As far as I was concerned, it was an extremely The 18-pound hammer had to be used to drive it in. I can lower my trailer wheel without a jack now, but I am used to using one. In my TJ, it also gains clearance for the spare tire. I like it.
