I didn't weigh it, but it was quite substantial. I'm guessing it was around 40 pounds.
I'm perplexed by the fact that the fitmit for the 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has three different answers. br>One person stated that they contacted Warn and were told no.br>Another person stated that it worked for him. br>According to another, Warn should be called. br>According to the ad, it "will " fit a 2019 Rubicon. br>I wish someone would monitor the articles and responses to ensure that they are correct. br>I have a 2019 Rubicon, and based on what I've learned, you'll need the plate to attach a winch (warn or otherwise) to your "optional steel" stock bumper. br>Perhaps the answer is to check U Tube, because I've gone through all of them so far and that's where I'm going!
This will allow the Wrangler JL Rubicon Steel Bumper to be equipped with the warn vr evo winch. The following are the product's specifications: "The Warn Zeon, Mopar Rubicon, Zeon Platinum, VR, M8, and XD9 winches are all compatible with this carrier."
That's what I wrote on my calendar for this year.

You come across differing viewpoints on what will fit a particular vehicle. In any case, a Warn VR 10S will fit a 2019 Jeep JL perfectly if the factory front bumper is steel and the Warn winch plate (WARN 101255 Winch Carrier) is used. Reaching the various mount bolts in the process was also not difficult. The VR has a freespool lever that easily turns in the factory steel bumper space, and the winch spool aligns perfectly with the factory bumper. br>br>Despite the fact that the directions said to throw it away, I cut the plastic trim piece that used to go between the grill and the bumper to fit around the winch between the bumper and the vehicle grill. I prefer it to having the Jeep frame rails exposed. The "WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit" was purchased separately and installed and connected to the Jeep Aux controls, as shown in the third and fourth photos. A nutsert is inserted into the existing hole in the fender, and then a mount bracket is fabricated. br>br>Removing the bumper, installing the winch plate, and reinstalling the bumper took me about 2 hours. Remember to wait until the bottom factory skid plate is in place before tightening the bumper bolts. I hope this has been of assistance.
(update). Before purchasing and beginning the job, I must have watched and read the instructions at least 100 times. Many people say it's difficult or difficult to fit in, but it was perfect for me. br>Removing the bumper was a breeze. br>I attached the entire winch plate loosely and it all fit together perfectly. br>After dropping the winch, I followed a few tips from other youtubers and everything went smoothly. br>Reinstalling the bumper and skid plate was a piece of cake. br>br>Most crucial advice:
1. To make it easier to line up the winch, keep everything loose before putting it in.
2. Before installing the winch, double-check that the ground wires are connected. Please do not throw the washer inside.
3. Return the power line in a proper straight line - I tossed it to the side, making a sloppy appearance. had to reroute itbr>br>(Update)br>Previously, my only complaint was that the skid plate didn't line up, but every YouTube video I watched said they had to drill out the last two bottom bolt holes. br>Son of a gun, I was about to do the same thing when I decided to give it another shot. it fits. There is no requirement for drilling. br>To line up the holes, you must keep everything loose and push on the skid plate. When lightly pushing up on the skip plate white, one of the two bottom bolts lined up perfectly, while the other needed to be handled but fit. There is no requirement for drilling.

First and foremost, I have decades of mechanical experience, including fabrication work on race cars. This was purchased to accommodate a Smitybilt Gen3 9. Because of the positive feedback and the fact that it is a "custom fit" for the JL, I went with the 5K winch. I did it myself and discovered that if everything went according to plan, it could be a one-hour or two-hour job. The brackets interfered with the welded-on stock skid plate brackets. on nut. The plate tilts forward if installed as is, but I continued anyway, assuming WARN knows what they're doing. Until the bolts are tightened, the fit appears to be fine. After securing all fasteners, I believe the mount is under stress rather than normally secured because gaps between mounting surfaces were visible and did not close up when pushed on to finger tighten the nuts. The back mounting holes of the skid plate were not permitted. Remove the factory bracket and replace it with the two 'L' brackets that should have the correct location for the skid plate mount holes. Finally, the wires from the control box are slightly pinched between the winch cross-bar and the winch cross-bar. grill and a bar It's possible that I'll have to remove the Jeep brackets and modify them to make the plate level. For the 2019 JLUR, there isn't as much custom fit as advertised. Overall, this mount is quite capable.
Worked as required. If you're using a Mopar steel bumper and skid plate, you'll need to notch the back holes to align them, as this will move the bumper out by about 1/4-inch. 1/3”. Warn VR Evo 12k was installed on a '20 JT. To make it easier, use 1/2" to 3/4" nuts and bolts with nylocs for the license plate on the fairlead plate.
The mount plate is a perfect fit. There were no problems to be found there. It appears to be more than capable of the task at hand. For the four bolts at the bottom of the mounting brackets, the kit should include longer bolts. If you have the OEM skid plate installed, the stock bolts will not be long enough to secure it. Because only two threads grab, you'll have to strip them. To replace the OEM parts, I ordered new blind nuts and bolts from McMaster. Warn should've done the same. The torque numbers in ft-lbs are given in the instructions. pounds and N- m WITH TWO INCONSISTENT NUMBERS! Also AWFUL is the hardware. I had one bolt shear off at a distance of only 35 feet. lbs! After that, I replaced all of the hardware with better McMaster hardware and had no further problems.
It's possible that the fact that I got it as an Amazon open box item contributed to my issues. The bolt holes in the winch mount did not match the winch. Zeon 10s, be on the lookout. For the winch to mount, I had to make them all slightly larger in one direction. The bumper mount plates had to be ground down as well. It appears that the jeep with the warning bumper should come with the warning mounting plate as well. br>br>At the end of the day, the winch is installed and looks like it came from the factory. It looked great with the addition of a new grill guard.
Fits perfectly on my 2018 Wrangler JL Rubicon and Zeon 10-inch wheels. S winch. It took approximately three hours. Installing the winch took 5 hours. Because the bumper is pushed forward by about 5mm, I had to widen two holes on the factory skid plate. It's not a major issue, but it's not exactly a factory-installed solution.
Installing it is not difficult. It appears to be a perfect fit. Installing it is not difficult. Behind the stock Rubicon steel bumper, I installed a Smittybuilt 10K winch. There are no problems with the skid plate, as I've read about with other plates. There is no tie-in or hardware. wraps up in a box Hardware was purchased in two trips to Lowes.
