As of February 2021, I purchased this item. As a whole, I am happy with the product. The pluses are the quality of the kit and the fact that it comes with most of the parts I need (see exception below on the wiring harness for the rocket switch). It seems like the components are of high quality, and the remote control is very nice. It is too soon for me to speak about the winch itself, since I have not yet used it. Specifically, it's installed on a Polaris RZR XP Turbo for 2019. Below are some of the downsides You're going to have a hard time installing it. You will need to remove the rocker plate, resolder the wires, and then mount the small switch to the rocker panel plate. A wiring harness with a rocker panel switch that fits the RZR is available from SuperATV, so it wasn't necessary to do this. I was extremely disappointed with the outcome. There is no way to tell if the kit was sent in error or if the Amazon system mislabeled it. You should beware. When you purchase this kit, be sure to get the wiring harness for your RZR, and not the wiring harness to be mounted to the handlebars of a four-wheeler An easywheeler. In the end, I could get it to work, but I was mad about it as well. ) Because of the below negatives, A five-star rating would have been possible if I had had the correct wiring harness for the RZR.

This kit is great. All of the pieces are in place. However, the rocker switch that comes with the kit is awful. There is only one screw on the bottom and it is Chinese cheap in feel. Various Superatv products are available for sale, including a dash mounted rocker. It would be so much better if you could order this kit when you order the winch, and not have to wait another week to get it after installation. Moreover, there was no information about how the winch should be mounted. In all other respects, however, everything is wonderful. I liked their supply of solder terminals and shrink tubes that made it easy to size Chinese cables to perfection. It is nice to have synthetic rope. The winch works well.

I love the thick metal brackets - they work great, however, installing them wasn't the easiest. If you have small hands it will be easier to install, and there weren't any instructions, but it's not hard to figure out how to do it.

Though I was worried it was going to be difficult to install, there were no issues. The unit looks very well made and has been working perfectly with the Badlands 3500 lb winch so far.

This mounting plate is great. The packaging was excellent. There is great precision in the assembly of this plate, and it To put it into place, you've got to work hard for it. All of it lining up perfectly once it is in place. I also found the instructions to be very straightforward.
