Based on what I was able to determine, you can move the solenoid if required. It is my suggestion to provide a cover for the winch when it is not in use so moisture is not built up inside In the event you move the box, I would suggest you do so in the engine compartment, but then you'd need more lines,
Unlike the winch, the Fairlead is not attached to it. Alternatively, you could purchase or fabricate your own
A power outage will occur or a free wheeling will occur.
Only once have I used mine, but I was pleased with it

A tight connection should be observed at all terminals. Sparks can be caused if the screws are not tightened. A large part of rough country's success is due to their customer service. There's no issue with the purchase of equipment from them. I've bought a lot of equipment from them. There was a fault with my lift, and they replaced it with no questions asked right away. They are definitely a company I will buy from.
The most common use of this truck is to load cars onto trailers.
Although I may not need it very much, it still works well for me. You will appreciate having a wireless remote in addition to the ease of hooking up. This winch seems good for the money and you can't go wrong with it. In order for the remote to stop working, water got into the control box on the winch, where it shorted out and caused the winch to spool in, They replaced the complete winch when they were called by Rough Country. The experience was great in the end.
I'm thrilled with how easy it was to install and how well it works!.
It works well, it looks good. The screws are too small, that is the only issue. perfectly, and is as good as anything you could imagine to bolt on the Crawl Country front bumper. (Although you'll have to go buy a bigger screw for the bumper) Holds up well and operates quietly. The first day that I wore it, I tested it out.
The only time I have been able to use it was to pull a fence post and it worked perfectly. I love how easy it is to.
We switched to synthetic rope after we were satisfied with the product. It's a wonder to watch Winch.
I will find out once the electric cables are connected if it works.
