It's a 3-bolt from the bottom pattern. I thought it would be fine to use. The bolt studs on my winch stand are welded to the trailer, so I will need to modify it to attach this. I know not all trailers are the same, but the bolts are welded to mine. I can deal with that. Welding bolt studs is a bad idea, though.

There were posts on a Ranger forum that mentioned that Ranger boats were now using the F2. I recently replaced my Fulton jack with this one after the previous one failed. I had to keep the trailer shallower than I normally would because the unit is too high, so my boat is hitting the sides when I pull up onto the trailer. My next step is to raise the volume. As for the winch, it seems to have been working fine. I went to a Ranger dealership to see what they have on their trailers, and they appear to This one is completely different than this one and has a much lower profile. I had difficulty getting the bolts tightened down because access is not one of its strong points, and I was unable to keep them from rising out of the square slots as I tightened As long as they're done properly though, I won't have any problems.

As a result of purchasing this handle, I replaced my old handle that came with my It would hit the bow of the boat when it reached the top of the handle, so I needed one that is a little shorter. It comes with a variety of handle length options to choose from. I was able to install it on my boat quite easily. Although I did have to drill one extra hole on my trailer to ensure it would sit flush, overall the process was easier than I anticipated.

It is straight-forward to follow the instructions, but there is a serrated washer installed on the three mounting bolts. Removing is not allowed! Assist with the placement and mounting of the wench to the trailer winch post, by placing the bolts into the slots on the wench base, then setting the wench onto the winch post, by placing the washers on the bolts to prevent them from falling out.

As an open motor boat, it had a Fulton winch on it, but, comparing the two (because we have the other boat), it's a night and day difference. Changing the bulbs is easy (takes less than ten minutes). Only two wrenches are required.

For my boat, I recently upgraded to this winch. The one that came from the manufacturer does not work as well as this one. I found this purchase to be worth it. I also purchased a heavy duty jack from the same manufacturer as a result of this product.
