It would be great if you could let me know where the rubber washer should be placed. If you would. What if there were no instructions for installation?

In between the bottle opener and the Jeep, there is a washer. I found that even with the bottle opener removed, the torx screw was long enough so I used it instead, since I keep a torx set for other Jeep torx screws, and tossed out the non-torx hardware included (it was an Allen bolt).

It would have been nice if the finish had been matte black rather than glossy, however, I anticipated and accepted this possibility. As much as I didn't like the fact that it had Allen screws rather than Torx, I was able to use the Torx screws already in place because they were long enough to work. The hardware provided for mounting the second one to my overland trailer was sufficient, sturdy, and I did not have to provide nuts or lock washers.

The mount is easy to mount. Since the ones provided were not the Jeep original bolts, I used mine instead. In the picture above, I put the largest rubber washer next to the paint and the other rubber washer next to the door It does what it is supposed to do.

What are the mounting options? It turned out that I had to drill holes in them since I bought them thinking they were bolt on, but they don't attach to These are good standard bottle openers, but they have no hole for mounting to existing bolts on your Jeep
