Questions & Answers
I believe these will work with almost any pattern. You could call Barnes to double-check.
You'll only need to drill two more holes, and you'll be good to go.
The holes are 1/2" in diameter and can be drilled out larger to press in wheel studs or weld in a hex bolt with the proper thread pitch from the backside. This part is sold individually, unpainted, and ready to weld on.
A variety of mounting patterns are available for the plate. Mine came from a 1974 Bronco with a 5 on 5 transmission. 5 bolt pattern on the wheels. I also own a 2015 Ram with the same 5 on 5 configuration. It fits in a 5 inch bolt pattern. br>I used to have a plate like this on my 1999 Dodge Cummins 2500 3/4-ton truck. The lug bolts on the 1999, on the other hand, were significantly thicker than those on the bronco and 1500 ram. If my memory serves me correctly, I had to widen the holes to accommodate larger, thicker lug bolts.

Barnes 4wd is known for producing high-quality merchandise. I bought this to make changing the bolt pattern on my tire carrier easier now that I have new axles. The tolerances, on the other hand, are far too narrow. At first, I assumed the holes had been drilled incorrectly. They are, however, insufficiently large. I'm going to have to go over everything again. Both the 5x5 and the 6x5 holes should be drilled. Barnes must know that 5x5 Patterns require a half-inch stud, so I assumed he would know. The 6x5 is also included. Take a 14 million if you're among the top five. I'm not a fan of the size of the plate. As a result, I've resolved to create my own. It'll be nearly as simple as re-arranging your furniture. I get precisely what I want by drilling out that plate. I'll keep the plate in case I need it for something else, but I'm a little disappointed.
What can I say, it's exactly what it says it is: a 1/4" thick plate with perfectly aligned holes for my 5x4 photograph. There are five different patterns available. The holes are 1/2" in diameter, so if you want to use wheel studs, you'll need to drill them out.
Thick and sturdy, this is a fantastic product. It's so simple to weld raw metal. I am extremely pleased.
Because I couldn't find any that would press in, I had to weld them in. But that could be just me.
This item is exactly what I expected: a 1/4 plate with a hole cut in it. The only reason for four stars rather than five is that a sheet of paper indicating which holes correspond to which lug pattern would have been helpful.
The bolts couldn't be installed because the holes were too small, and the hole patterns didn't match my application on my 2002 Ford F150.
